Being a single-level home with step-free and lift access from the secure underground parking, it’s an excellent choice for guests with mobility limitations or families with prams.
The master bedroom features a king-size bed and a luxurious ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom offers a comfortable double sofa bed, with the family bathroom, complete with bath and overhead shower, located just next door.

The Neighborhood:
This apartment in Central Plymouth, straddling The Hoe and historic Barbican districts, puts you right at the heart of this vibrant city. Cobbled streets, picturesque views down at the harbourside & The Hoe, and a rich maritime history are all around. The Barbican is one of the most atmospheric areas in Plymouth, filled with independent shops, galleries, restaurants, and traditional pubs. Just a short distance away, you can explore the Mayflower Steps, where the Pilgrims set sail for America in 1620, and wander through the Elizabethan Gardens, a hidden gem offering a peaceful retreat.
Food lovers are spoiled for choice here, with everything from classic fish and chips by the harbour to fine dining restaurants and international cuisines. The Barbican is also home to lively pubs, cocktail bars, and cosy cafes, perfect for soaking in the local atmosphere. You'll also find a 24 hour Tesco and Co-op a few minutes walk away.
Within a short walk, you’ll find The Hoe, Plymouth’s iconic seafront, where you can enjoy stunning views over Plymouth Sound, visit Smeaton’s Tower lighthouse, or simply relax on the grassy headland with an ice cream. From here, ferries and boat trips offer the chance to explore the wider coastline, including excursions across to Mount Batten or further into the scenic waters of South Devon and Cornwall.
For history and culture, the Box Museum offers fascinating exhibitions on Plymouth’s heritage, while the nearby National Marine Aquarium - the largest in the UK - is a must-visit for families. Theatre lovers can catch a show at the Theatre Royal Plymouth, one of the leading venues in the country.
Further afield, day trips to the South Hams, Dartmoor National Park, or the beaches of Cornwall are all within easy reach. Whether you’re drawn to history, culture, coastal walks, or lively nightlife, staying in the Barbican puts you at the centre of it all, making it an ideal base to explore everything Plymouth has to offer.
Getting Around:
The apartment is centrally located in the Barbican with all of the city's amenities within easy walking distance. It's also less than a 20-minute walk from the station, and buses are readily available. Regular trains run from Plymouth to Exeter and London Paddington every day.
For those who do drive, you can make use of private underground parking for 1 vehicle with an elevator going up to the level of the apartment. Numerous paid parking spaces are also available on the street and in multi-storey car parks.
