"Cozy and well decorated, but too lived in to be suitable as a vacation rental. For starters, the yard was covered in trash. The lakeside view mentioned is also blocked by other properties…really, that was what I was paying most of the money for, and what I was most excited for, and I was disappointed. To view it well, I had to walk a considerable distance off the property. Then inside the house… it was clean, and cozy as the pictures show, but some of the light switches for the main area were not covered properly and the main light and ceiling fan didn’t work at all. Then beds in the rooms were made and everything was organized. However, the mattress in one of the rooms had completely exploded and just been made over anyways. The upstairs bathroom was fine, except door handle was broken and held with tape. Got stuck inside, had to call for help to get out. The upstairs hall light didn’t even have bulbs. The kitchen was difficult. All the cookware was too used up, and is in need of replacements. Most of the pans were bent out of shape, the knives were very dull, and the dishes were dirty in the cabinets. Had to go out and get cookware. The sink drain was so small that water filled the sink even when open and uncovered. It was clean and toiletries, linens, towels were stocked, which was a plus. Overall, it was okay, but the little things added up, and made the stay difficult. Would not stay again."

"Property was as pictured and described. Quick response time to questions. Nice location if you want to participate in activities or just to enjoy the environment and what house had to offer. Clean, well stocked and perfect for our group. Will definitely keep in mind for future stays."

"The house was nice. We were a large group of families, meeting for a family reunion, and rented several homes We were trying to get our houses close together so we would be able to walk to each others homes. According to the map on VRBO, the house I rented was very close to the other families rentals. However, the map was wrong. We had to drive. It was very disappointing. In addition, although the listing gives us the homes bed count, the paperwork I received stated there were 3 queen beds and 6 twins. I relied on that for my quests. In fact, there were only 2 queens and a double. This was a big problem. I have rented from VRBO many times and this was the most disappointing. "

"We had a great time!!! The cabin looked just like the pictures, easy to book, easy check in. I didnt realize there was no stove but it wasnt an issue. Linens were provided, it was clean and most of all relaxing!!. We'd definitely book again. It was sooo peaceful. Just what we needed! Thank you to the owners for a fantastic weekend."

"It was just what my husband and I needed! A cozy little vacation with our pup. The decor of the cabin is so beautiful and welcoming. They had everything you could think of, bathroom essentials, sweets with a towel swan in the bedroom, a coffee/tea bar with s’mores ingredients next to it waiting for you use(we wish we could have used but it was a wet/rainy visit)and a plethora of board/card games etc. We will definitely be back for warmer weather! "

"We had a nice stay here. Keep in mind it was brutally cold, negative temps with the windchill, and the heat held up fine. The wood burning fireplace was also very nice. The only thing I would change is better directions into the place. You want to stay left at the fork and with all the snow it is near impossible to turn around if you have to go right (we also arrived late in the pitch black). Also if you plan on cooking, bring your own frying pan, there was none onsite. Overall very nice house, great hot shower, nice towels, etc. Kids loved the loft space as well. "
