"This host is lazy at best and deceptive at worst. I've never written a negative review before but here we go: - I sent 3 messages in the 3 days leading up to our stay with no response from Maria (no information provided regarding check-in process etc). She only got back to me a few hours before check-in time. - Check-in is advertised as 2pm and is one of the reasons we booked this accommodation as we were arriving from a long flight that morning. "I had to catch a midday flight out of Rome and since I had a rental car I decided to stay out of Rome for the night. This house is in a lovely little town by the lake. Right next to the restaurants, cafes, boardwalk. The owner greeted me at the door and gave me a quick walkthrough. Everything was clean and neat. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway. Note. If you’re going to do what I did, escape the high Rome hotel prices, and sleep overnight 30km outside of Rome, take *traffic* into...
