"The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is only about 10-15 min walk to the beach and city centre, but the walk is up quite a steep hill to get back to the hotel. There is a shuttle from the hotel that is available pretty frequently. Overall good experience."

"This was my second visit to the Royal Hotel which I was looking forward to! On arrival no recognition for it being my second visit- no welcome message or fruit etc in the room! Staff are great especially the pool team and the breakfast team! The room i had was the same as last time- I asked if I could have a late chexk out at 2pm and told no!! I still love the hotel but it could do better to recognise returning guests!"
