"I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. ..."

"The reception staff went over and above to be helpful. The rooms were excellent and it's the best night's sleep I've ever had. Breakfast was amazing too, with all tastes catered for. But the welcome we received from the lovely receptionist made it for me, a credir to the hotel."
