"From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. Reception was clean and spacious, and check-in was so easy as we had checked in remotely before arrival. Our room (junior suite) was huge and really well equipped. Really comfy bed and an amazing nights sleep. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Watch out for the coffee - it’ll definitely wake you up! We stayed for lunch after che out and we weren’t disappointed. Food was lovely - thank you chef. If I had to find a negative to my stay it would be that we were advised that the garden suites below have fire pits and therefore to make sure the outer doors were shut. However, no-one mentioned to make sure that the vents on the side windows were closed. We didn’t notice that the vents were open so came back to find the room smelling of smoke. A small omission, but it could make all the difference. I must say that the team at Parkway are wonderful. All our interactions with staff were wonderful. Really efficient and friendly and very very helpful. We will be booking again on our next trip to Wales. "

"We had a fantastic weekend stay in blackthorn lodge and couldn’t have asked for more. The hot tub, sauna and play area were highlights and made the whole experience incredibly relaxing and fun for the little one.The bungalow was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with every essential we needed and a great informative information book with literally everything you would need to know local spots to visit and which supermarkets deliver to the bungalow which made the stay completely stress-free. The hosts julia was extremely helpful with all the pre arrival information and her husband joe was very helpful and attentive when showing us how to use the logfire, hotub and sauna and happy to assist with anything we needed. It was clear a lot of care had gone into making guests feel welcome. We would absolutely recommend this place and would love to return in the future."

"Very nice stay, room clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, full English, used the restaurant for evening meal which was very enjoyable. Wasn’t keen on the very small smart TV in the room but owners were lovely and so was Hannah. A wonderful waitress "

"7 adults and 2 kids stayed for three nights. We all had a wonderful time. Hosts were brilliant, the house had everything we could possibly want and more i.e. lots of toys for the kids, large patio, outside space, comfortable seating. Highly recommended."
