Excellent area, great hotel!!

I truly enjoyed my experience at Oliver Plaza. Great location as it is very close to the tube & bus stop, kind and helpful staff, and spacious single room. I did not try the breakfast but it did smell good. I would definitely book here again! Until next time x

Bed was incredibly lumpy, they added a mattress foam topper to try to help, but it needed serious replacement. Dips in the bed made sleep difficult. We actually had to reverse sides and sleep with heads at the foot of the bed, and even then struggled to sleep. Staff cleaned the wash closet outside our room at 4am, and due to the gap under our door we heard everything and it kept us up. Floor had debris and a wad of hair, we had to ask the front desk to vacuum the room properly. They require you to check in the key at the front desk (similar to Paris), and attach the key to a large wooden block so you don’t lose it, which we found demeaning. Overall this place has a lot of potential with great location and room layout, but the furnishing, bed and carpet are in dire need of replacement. Bathroom needed updating as well, and our conditioner bottle had not been checked for refilling. Would not return.

Convenient location near paddington. Clean and tidy although room (top floor up a lot of stairs) was quite hot.
