Beach Bum West-O Motel

10/10 Excellent

"Close but not too far away from Ocean City boardwalk and all the noise. Quiet and peaceful area, convenieny to all stores nearby. Pool was a decent size and clean with plenty of lounge chairs. Laundry facilities for guests. Has cabins with grills and fire pits. Wood for sale on site to burn in pits. Ice bags available to purchase also. We had a 2nd floor room that was spacious and clean. Microwave and mini fridge included. 2 queen beds, linens were clean and room was cleaned and towels refreshed when we left for the afternoon. They provide a shuttle to and from Ocean City boardwalk. We would definitely return on our next location."

"This has been one of my favorite hotels to stay at! The staff was helpful and accommodating, rooms were clean and didn’t smell misty. Bathrooms smelled very clean when we arrived. The lobby, hallways, patio and pool area were well kept. The only downfalls were super small parking spaces. The AC’s are economic units which means they auto turn off which was annoying when sleeping. Lastly, the live bands were a BUST all 4 days we were there. It was actually one of the reasons we didn’t stay at the pool any longer. I preferred their radio of music choice playing. The band/guitarist/singer was a bore."

"We stay here since its a clean, pretty new hotel that is pet friendly. Bonus that it has a pool and breakfast. We noticed they have limited the hot breakfast items to waffles, scrambled eggs and sausage everyday. I believe last time there was a rotation and more variety, but it was fine. It's in a great location and we always have a good experience."

"The room was clean and bathroom very nice. At first. BUT why do we have to request house keeping. And house keeping never came. We only got towels because I requested. So I probably will not return if rooms being clean at least every other night is not a requirement. In 4 nights we should’ve had a clean bathroom and empty trash without having to request it."
