FREE AMENITIES GALORE!

Each of our places has a free high-speed WIFI, Beach towels, folding beach chairs, Sand toy set & all linens provided. Charcoal grills (guest to provide own charcoal). Free use of our laundry room on main floor.

Free shared use of swimming pool, Bay-front beach area, Fishing Dock, outdoor seating, outdoor Ping-Pong table, and self-serve Tiki Bar area.

Free shared use of our kayaks (for age 21 & up) to explore picturesque Lemon Bay. Dolphins often spotted.

Free high-speed WIFI. Keurig-style coffee maker & we also offer traditional coffee maker.

Like hotels - we supply "starter supplies" - toilet paper, folded paper towels, sample size coffee, tea, etc. to get you going -- then there's a Dollar Tree nearby or grocery stores if you want additional supplies.

Located in prime Manasota Key location near scenic beach on a tiny quiet island Street, the ultra-charming Blue Island Inn
offers absolutely spectacular Lemon Bay views from all suites! Low-key respectful vacationers only as this is a nice peaceful beach community. Located near the Key’s popular restaurants, many of which offer a free shuttle service.
Guests have access to upstairs Villa Seaglass and also to Blue Island Inn's common area amenities: pool, our sandy “bay beach”, fishing dock (no boat docking), Ping-Pong, laundry room.
- NOTE: TV's typically "ON" at arrival
Rental car is most popular, most affordable option for most people. Uber and Lyft are also options. Stumpy’s Free Ride is a very popular tip-based shuttle service to get around easily on the Key.

- ONE parking spot per Villa at blue Island Inn. Sorry no visitor parking. No oversize vehicles. No boat parking or boat docking due to insurance restrictions.

Great stay in great location!

The property was situated perfectly between the bay and the ocean. The heated pool was great for this time of year. It was the right size for a family of four and had great restaurants within walking distance or a short drive. Would stay again!

Beautiful Bayside Spot

We loved our stay here. It is a secluded spot right on the bay. So you can enjoy the pool, beach, fish and the small town that’s 1.5 miles up the road. Owner was great and process was smooth too.

Nice getaway

Seaglass Villa was a cute little unit that afforded great views of the sunrise each morning. The location was close to the beach & some fun restaurants & vacation options. A really nice winter getaway for those of us from the frigid north.

Island getaway

Wonderful stay at the sea glass villa beautiful view of intracoastal waterway where my son spent a lot of time fishing from designated dock. A/c was perfectly cool and place was spotless. Wish we had more time . Quick walk to the beach for shell hunting a plus

Lovely property

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was very clean, check in was a breeze. Our only issue was heated pool was very chilly first day. We let Amy know and a maintenance/electrician was immediately dispatched and determined a breaker had blown. The next day temp was up and nearly perfect. Very quiet part of the island, convenient to everything. Our favorite restaurant was The Lighthouse Grill, about 12 minutes away. Highly recommend this property, Amy was a responsive and wonderful host.

A heavenly week!

Sea Glass is a great little villa in a wonderful location directly on the bay and a short walk to the gulf beach. It is so nice to have both areas to relax and take in the water and sights. The pool is just the place to cool off after the beach or spending time on the fishing dock. The villa is well equipped, nicely decorated and very clean! Communication was excellent and any question was immediately answered. We would definitely stay here again!

Sittin’ On The Dock of The Bay!

The view is everything! When you factor in the ease of the experience it is so what you want in a quiet, beautiful stay in SWFL. It was just my mom and I and she is a local returning periodically to check in on her house as it’s being restored from hurricane Ian—almost done! Property management here is outstanding and the dolphin watching is awesome—even saw a shark! Pool could use resurfacing and signage is a bit over the top but from a frequent VRBO user, I highly recommend!

Breath Taking Views

I could set in the living room looking over the bay all day. The listing mistakenly lists 2 living rooms each with sleeper sofa, but it only has 1 living room. I figured that out by the pictures before we got there. The employees managing the property are supper nice. The place was very clean. My daughter fished every night from 7pm to 8pm catching about 4 to 5 fish a night. Place is located near beaches, good restaurants, and stores.

Seaglass

If you are looking for an extremely clean and quiet place to stay on Manasota Key, with beautiful views of the sunrise over Lemon Bay, then this is the place for you! A nice pool to relax in and a dock to fish from as well. The bedrooms are cottage sized, as described on the website, with very comfortable beds. I personally liked the washer/dryer right inside the unit. The Property manager, Elena, is super friendly and was onsight daily. Very approachable and helpful. I give Seaglass 5+ stars!!

Relaxing Retreat on the Bay

Spent a warm, relaxing wknd in Seaglass. The views are great of the Intercoastal waters, and we got up each morning to sit on the "Bay Beach" and watch the sunrise. It was a quiet place, and we had good conversations by the pool with the other guests. The dock was damaged in the hurricanes. We took out the kayaks and saw lots of jumping mullet fish. Communication was easy with Amy, and when we needed to ask the housekeeper a question, we texted her and she took care of the need quickly. The inside was cozy, updated and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The walk to the Gulf is about 5 minutes, and beach chairs, umbrellas and sand toys were aplenty. We spent a lot of time swimming in the Gulf and pool, and we found shark teeth on the beach.

PERFECT Getaway

Absolutely loved this little 2 bedroom. Everything was exactly as described and more. Everything from the little goodie tray with extra soaps, teas, waters, etc. to fans (if needed) stowed neatly away under the beds. If we forgot something I can guarantee it was there if we needed it. You'll find everything you need for the beach from coolers to umbrellas and inside everything from seasonings to laundry soap was provided. It was totally unexpected but a pleasant surprise, we had no idea there was a private beach access! Every night we went down to watch the sunset and it was absolutely beautiful.

We stayed four nights in this lovely spot. It is exactly as it appears in the photos. The view from the room was beautiful. The place was immaculate and stocked with all we needed. We especially enjoyed the pool and the bayside area. The sunrises were spectacular. It’s a short walk across the street to the beach for equally spectacular sunsets. Any requests we had were promptly answered. As lovely as the space was it’s small. It’s perfect for two people. There are larger units in the building we hope to check out on our next visit. It’s clear the management works hard to create a comfortable and inviting place.

LED lights

Loved the place. Cute and couldn't be cleaner. Lots of amenities and could be a favorite getaway place for us. The only, only thing that was more inconvenience than anything was the number of LED lights in all the rooms. We like a nice dark room to sleep in and there were lights everywhere! I tried to cover most of them with towels. And the TV screen never shuts down completely either. Thanks for a quiet and peaceful couple of days.

A Relaxing Beach Vacation

Our plan was to completely relax and enjoy the sunshine. We wanted to find a place that we did not have to leave the property unless we decided to do so. This place was exactly that. We were able to bring what we wanted with us to keep us from having to have the hassle of finding restaurants. The kitchen provided everything to be able to cook some very nice meals. The view from our living room of the (intracoastal), Lemon Bay was so full of wildlife. From watching the birds, manatees, dolphins and fish jumping, not to mention the beautiful sunrises each morning. The Kayaks that were provided was also fun to see the wildlife up close and personal. Before heading to the beach, we were able to pick up the chairs, umbrella, cooler and toys if we wanted that was all provided. The private access, 5 minute walk to our own beach was a lovely way to enjoy the surf and sunsets. Having trees to shade the sun was a plus for us. Coming back to Blue Island Inn from the beach and sitting pool side was as relaxing as it can get. We will definitely be coming back in the future.

Splendid week at Sea Glass

This is a wonderful house tucked away on Lemon Bay in Manasota Key. Everything about staying here was easy and fit our needs to a tee. The hosts were responsive and thought of everything when stocking the rooms. It was a great vacation.
