We really enjoyed our stay at Central Plaza. Close to the supermarket, beach and main street with shops and restaurants (we didn't have a car and could walk everywhere). Great heated pool and spa with bbq facilities for easy dinners. Friendly staff who were happy to help. Will stay here again.

Top floor location and newly renovated with new furniture throughout. We overlooked the swimming pool and had no traffic noise. The unit was fully equipped and the bed very comfortable. Parking was easy, plenty of room and undercover. The stay was all that we could have wished for. Excellent experience.

A good choice.

These are slightly older apartments kept very clean and in good condition. Its about a 1km walk to town. The apartment is spacious. Definately good value.

The best thing about this apartment is its great location. Our family could walk everywhere we wanted to in Port Douglas - the Main Street was just 10 minutes away. The place itself is a little worn, but it is clean. They provide enough laundry detergent to do a couple of loads of laundry. They also provided beach towels which we appreciated. The kitchen had the basics to cook meals. Overall, I’d recommend this place due to the location and the extra space.

Spacious apartment, no issue with facilities. One important negative though, but it is easily corrected. The hotel told us, both in writing and verbally, that the Captain Cook Highway was shut most of the night. This caused us a lot of stress as we arrived late. It is not true.

My wife and i have been visiting Port Douglas twice a year (with exception of Covid !9 time) for 19 years but this was our first stay at this property. On this occassion we were travelling with friends that accompany us on most trips. Our dual key two bedroom apartment was clean, comfortable and well appointed and we voted the pool as best so far in Port in terms of size, positioning and number of lounge chair options. whilst not in the heart of Port Douglas restaurant and shopping precinct, it was only a 10/15 minute walk to main street or Marina and shorter for the 4 mile beach. Rodney and Glenys were were very friendly and helpful hosts. We would certainly consider staying there again in the future

Both my partner and I enjoy our stay at Centre Plaza Apartments Our apartment was very nice plenty of space for the 2 of us The furniture was lovely couch wash comfortable as well as the bed The view from our balcony to the pool was amazing The apartment was just not as clean as I would have like it Not to any fault of the owners but they were building new apartments next door and to be woken up early (7am) from the noise was disappointing as we are on holidays and would have liked a sleep in Our apartment was about a 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 minutes to the main street Yes we would stay here again and recommend our family and friends as well

Close to everything - beach and town. Not actually in the main shopping street which was a plus for me. My unit faced the main street but even so was not too noisy. Like most units, upper floor noise transmits from above - this is a lucky dip as to whether you get considerate guests above you. Unit was very well stocked for short term stays. Bed was comfortable. My one and only "complaint" is that the floor was not overly clean for bare feet - hard for the property manager to notice this without them walking around in bare feet themselves. I would happily stay again and have already told some friends to consider this place when in Port Douglas.

Gorgeous, large , heated swimming pool. Apartment spacious and well equipped. Well situated and close to centre of Port Douglas. Great bed and 2 bathrooms. Negatives, 32 steps to the apartment, no lift. We had asked for the ground floor. Difficult to carry up suitcases and no help available. Toilet didn’t flush first time and hole in the wall. Place could be better maintained and needs some TLC. Flyscreens door to balcony broken and other minor repairs needed.

Where to start – there are so many excellent elements to this apartment. Firstly, it is in a great location, able to walk to the beach and to the shops and restaurants. We had a hire car but did not use it in town at all as we love to walk everywhere. Secondly, the managers are so friendly, helpful and accommodating which made our weeklong stay very pleasant. We had a three bedroom renovated apartment for our family of two adults and three teenage boys. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. The beds were great, we had a full-size fridge & appliance which were great for self catering, a washing machine and lots of room for everyone to relax. We had undercover parking on site which was great to be able to park in shade on hot days. Our apartment had a lovely outdoor area that was private and secure. The apartment worked brilliantly and was used non-stop during the day, we relied on fans at night (our preference) and stayed cool. And then we come to the pool – it was a highlight of our stay! Large, clean, with lovely tropical plants around it, it was such a great place to cool off on a hot day and even to have a swim after dinner as it is open until 930pm. The spa was slightly warmer and lovely to sit in when the bubbles were running. Highly recommend Central for an affordable, comfortable apartment close to everything that you need. We would definitely stay again.
