Great location and super friendly staff

Superb location which is around the corner from the main Port Douglas strip and amenities. Apartments are in good condition with kitchen well equipped for light meals. Staff were great suggestions and feedback on local attractions. Only negative is the pool which is on the smaller side, but does get all day sun.

We spent six days, a family with two children. The rooms are spacious, equipped with everything you need. The place is quiet and you can walk to every location in the center in a few minutes. Beautiful pool with sun loungers and barbecue equipment. The staff is very friendly. I highly recommend it.

Verandahs has lovely staff, and it's a very comfortable apartment with good facilities, and a lovely pool. It's a short walk to restaurants, Coles and Macrossan St.

A great little condo in the heart of town. I would stay again. The kitchen needed a bit of a deep clean, but everywhere else was spotless. The washer dryer was much appreciated!

We loved our trip to Port Douglas. Our 2 bed apartment was spotless with plenty of room. Pretty well equipped apart from needing a few extra glasses. Great location with the beach ,shops and pier all within walking distance. Reception were really helpful with planning our activities and eating out. Would definitely recommend

We had the most wonderful week at Verandahs Port Douglas. The accommodation was calm, peaceful, and beautifully maintained – exactly what we were looking for. The apartment was super clean, spacious, and comfortable, with beds that made for a great night’s sleep. The pool area was fantastic, a perfect spot to relax, and the apartment kitchen and shared BBQ facilities made breakfasts and easy dinners so convenient. Everything was thoughtfully set up to make our stay enjoyable and stress-free. A special mention to Brooke, who checked us in – she was so friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which set the tone for the rest of our stay. Verandahs truly felt like a little slice of paradise. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, well-kept, and relaxing and convenient place to stay in Port Douglas. We will definitely be back!

Apartment & pool were great, easy walk into town and to the beach. Very poor shower pressure not able to get shampoo out of our hair. Managers were going to address with apartment owner. Hopefully will be fixed.

We loved Verandahs. The unit was very nice and up to date. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We wish we had stayed longer. This was the nicest accommodation we had in a 3 week trip around Australia. Port Douglas is also a very nice small town with lots to do. Verandahs is conveniently located right next to the little downtown so once parked the car we could walk from there. I highly recommend Verandahs and can’t wait to get back here.

We found our apartment clean, tidy and comfortable. It had all necessary amenities and the kitchen looked quite new. Our outdoor area was hugh and had everything we needed, including clothes airer. We loved the size of our apartment and the amount of tropical plants that kept it cool and private.

Feels like home

The veranda felt like a little piece of home on a very long holiday. We only stayed two nights, but I wished we had more time. Too bad too Bath laundry a full kitchen. It was great just to kind of relax. Cook a meal watch TV and have a good night sleep. We stayed here towards the end of a month long vacation and it felt so comfortable and welcoming. The owners are on site, quick to respond, helpful and very accommodating to overseas travelers with crazy schedules. The place is very well kept, clean and safe. The only downside was that we were on the third floor and left our luggage in our car so that we didn’t have to haul the heavy suitcases up and down, there’s no elevator.

Great location, just off the Main Street near restaurants & shops but also well located for the beach. Good sized & well equipped one bedroom apartment. Covered terrace, good ac, fans, washing machine & dryer. Comfy bed and it’s nice & quiet. No lift but it’s not a problem. Underground car parking. Lovely pool & sunbeds. WiFi was quite variable, it worked well in the bedroom but less so on the terrace. Could do with a deep clean. On the surface it was fine but the washing machine was very dusty, same with inside of lampshades, drawers in the bathroom need wiping & some cutlery needed washing up before we could use it. Supplied with toiletries, washing up liquid & dishwasher tablets & a sachet of washing powder.

We had an excellent stay at this boutique apartment and felt at home the moment we walked in. The place was beautifully maintained and had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, and air conditioning in every room. Its central location made it easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and nearby amenities, which was incredibly convenient. The swimming pool was a real highligh, our kids thoroughly enjoyed it and spent a lot of time there. Overall, it was a perfect home away from home, and we would happily stay here again!
