The property looks like a post card picture. The cottage over looks a beautiful garden and is right on the water. Ed is a gracious host and has anticipated everything you may need.

What a find!! Ed's cottage is wonderful, the cottage itself is cozy and cute and the property has lovely views and beach access. Ed was very welcoming and kind and even included the tide schedule for our stay as well as local recommendations. Add in the close proximity to Port Townsend and the cottage had a full kitchen, it was absolutely wonderful. I'll be back, that's a guarantee.

Beautiful property! A bit of a hiccup with check-in due to not going directly to the property website when reserving. Otherwise so welcoming and friendly! The Jenny cottage was perfect for a solo traveler or couple. So great to have breakfast and dinner right on the front porch with such an awesome view. Will definitely be back!

Cute place, it had amenities that weren’t listed and were a nice additional touch like a pedal boat. The host was a great guy. Being on the water was great.

Bay Cottag me Has the perfect rustic cottage feel with amazing views and sunsets . The host is friendly and informative of what to do in The area and on the property. Unplug and relax watching wildlife and with a short drive do some shopping or grab a bite in historic Port Townsend.

We booked this cottage for a wedding we were attending in Port Townsend. Ed greeted us and gave us a tour, and was very friendly. The cottage is very close to Port Townsend for day trips, but it is also just a lovely space to relax in. The cottage is clean, quaint, and very cute. The views of the bay are gorgeous, and we had a very nice time during out stay!

Great stay!

My week vacation at Bay Cottage was wonderful and relaxing. Ed was a great host, giving me so much helpful information about the room, property and Port Townsend. I was welcomed with fresh cut flowers and a plate of fresh berries with homemade chocolate chip walnut cookies. Enjoyed the cottage’s nice private deck to sit on as well as the community patio overlooking the beach and water. Many, many thanks!

The cottages are right on Discovery Bay. We watched river otters playing, went kayaking, and saw incredible views of the Olympic Mountains, the bay, and the sunsets from both rooms, the porch, and the large patio, the kinds of views that you could look at for hours. The cottage has a cozy, traditional feel that we loved. It is old, well-maintained, and very clean, with all sorts of little touches and amenities that made us feel appreciated, and the landscaping is beautiful. Ed, the owner, is an incredible host. He shared history, gently offered suggestions for our travels, and treated us the way you hope a good friend will when they host you. Cori answered all of our concerns, worked very hard to make the cottage just right for us, and welcomed us so warmly that we felt comfortable before we even opened the cottage door. We look forward to returning.

Jenny's cottage was clean, quiet, & the view you cannot beat. Ed was a wealth of information from things to do, to where to eat, to the property grounds. It is small, but has everything you need for a great stay.

Beautiful place!

We arrived late and left for adventures early but the property was fabulous. I wish we had more downtime to enjoy the beach and all of the property’s offerings. Ed is a gracious host and his granddaughter’s cookies were delicious.

Ed is a terrific host who makes you feel welcome the minute that you step out of your car. It was a beautiful location and very relaxing with the beach and water at your doorstep.

Our stay at the Bay Cottages was very relaxing and Ed is a great host! The cottages are old and a little funky (sloped floors, no internet inside) but well appointed and very comfortable. My husband, my mother and I stayed in the back cottage that has a queen bed and a twin. The bathroom and twin room are off the queen room so Mom had to walk through our room to get to the bath or living space. There are no TVs and very spotty wifi so bring a book, slow down and enjoy the views! We had great weather and enjoyed taking our kayak out from the beach below the property. At night we had a fire out on the patio and watched the sunset. And if you get bored easily, there’s a multitude of things to do in downtown Port Townsend!

This place was very charming. Full kitchen, queen bed for us parents and a spare room and bed for the kiddo. Sandy beach just down the path and a great out door common area. The owner was very friendly. There was even a plate of berries and fresh baked homemade cookies waiting on the table for us when we arrived. Great location and only about 5-10 min from town.

Ed (our host) was fantastic! At check-in he went through in detail the particulars of our cottage ("Jenny"), access to the beach, as well as providing his personal insight (and a map) specific to Port Townsend. This location is quiet, peaceful, with absolutely gorgeous views of Discovery Bay and the Olympic Mountains. We will be back!
