"If you want a private PARADISE to unwind with your family or significant other, this is it. You instantly feel relaxed the moment you arrive to a quiet and calm lake with all the amenities ( literally they thought of everything!). Hot showers, comfy beds, incredible sunrises/sunsets and the hosts are just wonderful people. They even gave us a sweet little basket with fresh goodies on our arrival! As my family are adventure people, we spent a lot of time off property doing fun things like the rafting/tubing on the Ottawa River which is close, bonnechere caves was a great tour, we did the foam fest 5k run in Napean, enjoyed the small towns along the way and all the fresh grown veggies and baked goods from the area. Unfortunately, we only had 5 days here and I would have loved to stay another week just to enjoy the property more but all great things must come to an end. The kayaks, water trampoline and the dock was a huge hit with the kids and its a sand beach! Theres lots of green space to play and indoor/outdoor places to eat - including a BBQ and cook top. One of my favourite places to enjoy the tranquility was the custom built stone fireplace gazebo overlooking the lake. Absolutely SPECTACULAR especially at night and no bugs in there! In summary, by the time you sign out, your stress will be gone and you won't want to leave - already wanting to go back. They built heaven and they shared it with us!"

"This hotel is nicely situated in Arnprior, within walking distance of the historic downtown area. The front desk receptionist was very pleasant, understanding and helpful. The hotel is showing signs of wear & tear & age; I felt that there could have been more effort given to the cleanliness of the room flooring & the bathroom. It would benefit from a bit more attention. However, we were grateful that the hotel allowed dogs and that our room was big enough for 2 adults & 2 dogs."
Beautiful Sunsets and Peaceful lake views

"This was our second visit to the cottage, and it was ideal for our needs. We were two adults, two 7-year-olds, and one water crazy dog. For the kids, the big attractions were the swing, the sand, and the water, all the basics of cottage life without any glamour. The adults enjoyed the sunsets from the screened porch every night, and the ease of watching the kids outside from a lawn chair. Entry to the water is very gradual, and the girls enjoyed jumping off the paddle board a little ways out. We saw ducks, geese, a heron, gulls, and a solitary loon. Sylvia was very responsive to my questions. There were a few changes from our first visit that had me confused."

"We had an amazing stay at Louis’ chalet in Quebec! The space was incredibly clean, comfortable, and exactly as shown in the photos—with one exception: the view was EVEN BETTER in person!Louis was an amazing host—welcoming, responsive, and thoughtful throughout our stay. The chalet was equipped with everything we needed to relax and enjoy ourselves and clear instructions if needed which made the whole experience easy and comfortable.We especially loved getting out on the water and kayaking in such BEAUTIFUL surroundings...it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip.Beautiful location, wonderful accommodations, and a fantastic host. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Louis’ chalet, and we would happily stay again! In fact, we have already rebooked for next year."
