Top Portage Lakes State Park Hotel Reviews

Hilton Garden Inn Akron

10/10 Excellent

"The lobby and breakfast area were beautiful. Although the breakfast was good, other Hilton Gardens offered complimentary breakfast."

Comfort Suites Hartville - North Canton

10/10 Excellent

"Clean and a great place to stay"

Comfort Inn & Suites Akron South

10/10 Excellent

"For the price this was a great place. The beds initially felt hard, but were actually very comfortable (I have a top end mattress at home). Room & common areas were clean. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a hotel. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The only downside, we were on the 2nd floor and could hear those in the room above walking around."

Comfort Inn Hall of Fame

10/10 Excellent

"The front desk manager was super and the room was really nice, including the hotel itself. Definitely will stay again next time I'm in the area!"

Best Western Plus North Canton Inn & Suites

8/10 Good

"Hotel was nice. The location of the elevator was a little weird. The breakfast was average."

Embassy Suites by Hilton Akron Canton Airport

10/10 Excellent

"Large hotel. A football team was staying while we there, but they were very quiet. Front desk staff were nice and restaurant staff as well. Free breakfast."

Wingate by Wyndham Canton/Hall of Fame

8/10 Good

"My room was clean, and comfortable. The blackout curtains worked perfectly,(room stayed very dark all night 😃). The only issue I ran into was the shower; there was seemingly no way to activate the shower head and the bath tub was extremely flimsily. I weigh 150 lbs. and the bottom of the tub would collapse under my feet. Upon checking out, I informed the front desk of the issue. He immediately pulled out a replica of the tub faucet and showed me how it worked. Not being a frequent traveler this was not an intuitive process. I accepted my ignorance of this process and let it go. BTW, the water was nice and hot! All,in all, I would stay again."
