"This is my second time staying at Ty Mabon, the space was perfect for us as a couple and our dog. The welcome pack provided was useful, the space was clean and well presented. It was great to see coat hooks added since our last stay, much needed with the Welsh weather! Amble parking space. Never been let down by AHL!"

"This was a beautiful house with careful design and finish, obvoiusly built with love. The owner was friendly and welcoming. However, there were some things that would have made our stay perfect:- a sign outside the house gates on the road saying its name clearly - we drove past twice; a cafetiere or coffee machine and better teapot - we don't drink espresso coffee and couldn't work the machine; good quality pillows - ours were lumpy and uncomfortable; serving spoons; a general book that explains all the quirks, such as the hidden cutlery drawers and the way the pans have to fit each ring on the hob before they work, and that the windows are built to withstand very strong winds as with storm 'Dave' which was scary upstairs, someone to clean the dishwasher, fridge and sink in between visitors, they didn't smell nice."

"Stunning property and location. We stopped with three generations and a dog. Lovely and clean and well equipped for cooking. Lots of time spent looking out of the windows at the ever changing view of the estuary, sea birds and dog walkers! Minor issue with heating in lower level dealt with same day. Loved it so much we've already booked for next year."

"Family celebration gathering. We all live in north wales,the house was in a great location. The rooms were sll great the lounge and kitchen are ideal for large gatherings as you can all be in the same area.Everything provided for you even a lovely tray of welsh goodies for your arrival.Very clise to getting around the island easily.Would definitely return and most certainly recommend "

"We first stayed 2 years back February half term and had such fond memories so we booked again, but in the bigger cottage this time, it was huge! So cosy and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time there, great cooking facilities, big fridge/freezer too. Both bedrooms had large ensuites. Beds were really comfy. High quality mattresses and bed linen plenty of fluffy white towels. Location is just perfect 5mins from the estuary and fantastic walks to the beaches and coves. Perfect for bird/nature spotting. Lovely cafe on site, GF options, good price and large portions. We would highly recommend it and I'm sure we will be back again. Aberffraw is just magical (even in Feb)"

"The cottage was warm, comfortable and ideally situated for discovering the island. It was generally clean and well equipped but there were some very minor issues which I feel need attention… . three of the four cereal bowls were cracked and/or badly chipped . the vegetable peeler did not function . there was no potato masher . the cheese grater had not been washed after its last use . the kitchen waste bin was awkward to use and needed updating. The planning and management of my booking was first class. Thank you. It was a most enjoyable holiday."
