This property was perfect for my family! The room was spacious for my husband myself and two young girls. The beach front view was nice in the morning with a cup of coffee! There were many restaurants and shops nearby. Excellent location, friendly staff and wonderful buffet with healthy fresh options that even accommodate for gluten free options. The hotel pool was wonderful work a great choice of affordable cocktails poolside. My only complaint is that the the pillows were too bulky and uncomfortable. However, the staff and facility is top notch!

Great location, with quick and easy access to the beach. Spacious room with comfortable bed. Awesome breakfast. Only issue was the lack of parking. I had hoped to secure one of the underground parking spots at the hotel but none was available. Would recommend that the hotel books a parking spot at the same time a room is booked.

We wanted right by the beach and we got right by the beach!! If you book the ocean view you will have amazing scenery of the ocean! It can get a bit noisy at night.. one of the nights there was a performer at the outdoor pool next door who sang 80’s rock music for what felt like hours but we were so tired from the beautiful beach it didn’t matter! The room was huge and the bed was super comfortable! The breakfast buffet was amazing with tons of selection even vegetarian options. AND tons of cool shops, restaurants, and bars all around the hotel within distance. If you’re looking to be by the beach, shopping, and dining… this is THE hotel for you!!

Fantastic! Had a very pleasant 4nt stay at Hotel da Rocha. The Superior Suite on the 6th floor has a lovely view of Portimao Marina (and possibly the sunrise if you’re on the balcony at the right time). Very conveniently located, Praia da Rocha beach is just across the road, with easy access to the beach, it also has the only step-free access in this area. Do take care walking on the cobblestones down to the beach as it can be slightly slippery or walk down the steps. Buffet breakfast has a wide selection. The mini Pata de Nata went down as a treat on Sunday morning. The swimming pool is right by the restaurant, there’s always a sun lounger available by the pool when ever needed, everyone abide by the rule of not reserving a lounger. The cleanliness in and around the hotel is remarkable, staff are friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed for 3 nights with my 2 kids and all of us LOVED the hotel. The room is super spacious with the kids each having their own bed. The free breakfast buffet was one of the best included breakfast I've had. The selection was phenomenal and taste was great. It was so good that we went to their dinner buffet (€28/adult, half for kids, and they didn't charge for my 8yo son). Again the food was great, nice selection and we went back for a second time as their menu changes everyday. Location was fantastic, only minutes walk to everything, even a pharmacy if you need anything. The pool was clean with plenty of lounge chairs and even sunbeds and equipped with a pool bar. Loved that you can borrow beach towels with a €10 deposit. Amazing stay, would definitely recommend.

We changed from a suite to a seaview on arrival and could not have been happier. The view from the eighth floor was spectacular. The hotel is big and busy, but we loved sitting on the balcony (except when the neighbors were smoking). Would definitely stay again.

My second stay here. Hotel is clean, spacious rooms with relatively friendly staff (well the reception and restaurant manager was very friendly) and an excellent location to local stores and many restaurants.
