"Amazing location if you like a party in the high season and if you just want somewhere close to the bars and beach in the off season. Biggest difference would be the noise. Off season the bars are still open late but not too loud we didn’t struggle to sleep but according to the local in high summer the street is packed!"

"Great stay. Very clean and spacious. It's about a 17 minute walk from the beach but on a hot day it's a pretty exhausting walk and the buses weren't very consistent but the taxis were cheap enough."

"It's a 5 star hotel and it shows. It is large, has plenty of amenities and resources for the guests. A few restaurants and a bar (admittedly we didn't get to try any). The breakfast was good. The pool was nice and comforting on the hot days we had. The hotel room was very spacious. And the bathroom was larger than I'm used to. We'd been in other hotels durong our Portugal trip that were quite small, so this was a welcome change. Overall we loved this hotel. I saw other reviews mention the hotel seemed outdated and needed renovations. I see where they are coming from, however we did not find it to be as bad as others commented it was. I think they were overreacting, especially considering the other hotels available in that area. For the low price we paid, our stay was magnificent. We are glad we stayed here."
