Casa do Passeio - in the Historic Center

House in the center of Porto, in Passeio das Virtudes, surrounded by the main historical monuments, in the middle of the small "trendy" cafes and restaurants of the city. This charming duplex house, located in a very quiet street, offers you three beautiful bedrooms, one with a small private balcony, two shower rooms with sink and WC, a living room with private patio, TV and WI- Free FI and large kitchen / dining room, fully equipped (fridge, dishwasher, microwave, electric hob, toaster, electric coffee maker). Baby equipment if necessary. Electric heating and fan in all rooms. Home 6 people. The house allows you to visit Porto on foot: the Torre dos Clérigos is 5 minutes away, Ribeira is 10 minutes, the Caves of Porto is 15 minutes, the beautiful Librairie Lello and the Galerias of Paris are 10 minutes away, the famous ski resort train S. Bento 10 minutes away, as is the metro station. The airport is 20-25 minutes by car. Paid parking is 2 minutes walk from the house.
The owner will welcome you when you arrive in Portuguese, French, English or Spanish and will be at your disposal to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

This was a very comfortable place to stay in a great location in Porto. It was very close to a lot of attractions and has a lively row of restaurants and a viewpoint overlooking the Douro River that was lovely at sunset!

Wonderful stay in Porto with a great host!

We, a family group of 4 adults had a fantastic stay in this house. The beds are very comfortable, everything was clean and the location is very nice. Sofia is one of the best hosts we ever met, always tried to make everything possible, gave us a lot of good ideas what to do in Porto and where to eat. At the end, we invited her on a lunch to thank her for the stay. It was an amazing experience! Thank you Sofia for everything!

Cozy and convinient

Our hostess and apartment were both, warm and welcoming. The location is great and a short 10 to 15 minute walk to most places we wanted to explore. The apartment is located close to restaurants, a small grocery store and overlook from Vitrudes park. Eventhough there are busy bars steps from the front door, the apartment provide a quiet haven. I would stay again.

Business and pleasure

The apartment was clean and comfortable for 3 adults. It was in an ideal location to get to our conference as well as close to the tourist areas and great restaurants in Porto. Sofia was very attentive and helpful for anything we needed. I would definitely recommend this apartment and if I am ever in Porto again, would be happy to stay here.

Visit Porto!

The place was very nice and in a good location. It is on a the side of a hill though, so, be careful with your luggage. Sofia was an excellent host. We had some train delays and she was very accommodating with our check-in time and greeting us. She took the time to show us the place, make recommendations on the map, and even had a bottle of Port waiting for us.

Porto weekend

We met Sofia on arrival to hand over keys for our weekend stay… on arrival she asked us if we wanted suggestions with the local area which was very helpful. Sofia is a great host as she spent time time going through where to eat and drink and places of worth to visit etc. She also ran through the apartment where everything was and said email if we needed anything.The apartment is lovely, clean, tidy and decorated to a nice neutral taste. It was a good size for 4 people to have their own space. Thanks again for allowing us to stay Sofia, it’s very clear you care for your guest’s needs and help them settle quickly so as not to waste time. The Port and Pastel de Nata was a nice touch from Sofia for a first taste of Porto.. 10/10

Sweet apartment

Though neighbor upstairs can be quite impertinent and rude, even with the kids, who were playing a board game and reportedly bothered her. If absolutely silence is expected, I’d suggest plenty of white noise machines throughout the house. Communication with owners was excellent and apartment was lovely.

FABULOUS!! So clean!

Everything about this quiet little house was perfect. The whole house had a nice feel with the stone wall & floors. This was the cleanest VRBO I have ever stayed in! Nico met us to make sure we were well acquainted with the house & he even took the time to show us a map of Porto & places to see. Delicious Port & pasteis de nata were generously left for us. Our only complaint was the neighbor. We never saw or heard her until our last morning. At 5:58am, as we were packing up, she knocked on the door & started yelling at me about us being loud. I had my backpack & tennis shoes on & we were about to bring the suitcases down as we were waiting for our Uber. I apologized as she continued to yell "Just leave! GO!" Nico had told us to be quiet between 11pm to early morning since the neighbor was right there. Being 5 adults, we were respectful of her our entire time. I'm sure we were louder than normal since we were packing suitcases & showering, but we had been awake for less than 30 minutes. I wouldn't let her scare anyone out of this perfect little house!

Great place to stay and n Porto!

This was an awesome property. It had a great location…. Walkable to all the sights and activities! Sofia was so easy to work with. She greeted us and explained everything and gave recommendations on where to go and what to eat. She was very sweet. The apartment was very clean and cozy: wonderful beds and the shower was great. Sofia was so hospitable. You will not be sorry if you rent this apartment!

Cute and cozy!

Sofia was absolutely wonderful and very responsive and accommodating. She gave us many recommendations on where to go in Porto. She’s so very kind. I stayed here with 4 of my cousins. The only downside to staying here was the woman who lives upstairs. I really think she is just a sad and lonely woman who doesn’t like tourists. She yelled at us within the first 20 minutes of us being there. We were not even loud but the walls are VERY thin and you could hear everything. She would stomp on the floors and bang on the walls and slammed her door a few times.Other than that, very clean and safe neighborhood. Eventually, we just had to laugh about the old lady upstairs. It wasn’t a huge inconvenience to us at all as we were only using the house to shower and sleep really!

Fantastic accommodation and location

Sofia gave us a very warm welcome and plenty of advice and recommendations for the area. The apartment is in an ideal location and very comfortable for a family. Thank you also for the welcome tarts and port, they were delicious! We would definitely stay here again if visiting Porto.

Beautiful Accommodation in Porto

Sofia was the perfect host, including orientation at apartment. Nice touch was complimentary port and pastries. Sofia was very accessible by text or phone and offered to make arrangements for taxis/transfers to airport. We highly recommend her accommodations.

A Gem on a Hill

There were 4 of us staying in the lovely quaint apartment. Bedrooms we're upstairs and there was a little courtyard that we enjoyed sitting in. However, you must keep quiet early in the mornings and later in the evenings because of a not so nice neighbour. But everything else made up for it. Lovely sunsets over the river. Great restaurants all around. We had a great stay.

Meget central beliggenhed i hyggeligt kvarter

Vi landede tidligt om morgenen og var heldige at få adgang til huset allerede kl. 11. Sofia var en rigtig sød vært, som var meget imødekommende og gav os mange nyttige oplysninger. Huset var rigtig fint til 3 par og lå i gåafstand til alt i det historiske Porto og Gaia.

Friends Short Break

Myself and two friends stayed in Casa do Passeio for a short break in Porto. Sofia met us at the apartment and gave us lots of information about the area. She was very accommodating. The apartment was good with everything we needed. We had a problem with the internet but Sofia got the problem sorted very quickly. There is plenty restaurants in the surrounding area. We were sorry to leave and were wishing we could have stayed another couple of days.
