Warm welcoming staffs, delicious breakfast buffet with many selections. Quiet night, no construction noise. Easily accessible to all popular destinations in Porto. Definitely will come back to stay at Mercure.

Hotel was in a central location but down a quiet road, easily accessible from the Metro. Staff on reception were very friendly and helpful as were the staff who were in the dining area at breakfast time. Hotel room was clean and tidy and an added bonus with a little seating area outside. Bathroom was an ideal size with a lovely shower. There was also a small kettle in the room, along with tea and coffee, which was a nice gesture as well as the 2 pastel de nata which were left in my room and a welcome treat after my flight. I also felt completely safe walking into Porto of an evening from my hotel. Would definitely recommend it and can't wait to visit again

Great location, superb staff that is very helpful and friendly, beautiful hotel and very clean . The rooms are small and functional, very modern often form over function like the light fixtures. The bathrooms are very modern, again form over function. The shower dial does not indicate hot or cold so trial and very hot error , the sinks is one of the squares where you always wet the floor and yourselves. The room was very quiet and the bed very comfortable and guaranteed a good night sleep. Would stay again any time!

This is an excellent hotel centrally located near the train station. It is a 15 minute (downhill) walk to the river front, which is vibrant on both sides of the river. Fully recommended.

Everyone at the hotel was wonderful. The hotel itself was one of the nicest we have stayed in. Breakfast was enjoyable and local sites are close by.

This was a wonderful hotel. Perfectly located within walking distance of everything. The rooms were spacious and I loved my garden view. The variety of breakfast choice was incredible and really set you up for the day. I would highly recommend staying.

Centrally located hotel, stones throw away from the main sights. The hotel itself is one of the best we have visited; clean, beautifully designed from the interior decor to facilities including free water and juices in the room daily, Dyson hairdryer and TV which connects via chromecast. Only negative was that the outdoor pool was not heated as described on the website but given it was out of season this was not an issue. Staff were friendly and attentive. Overall a great hotel, would return and recommend

A hotel in an excellent location right in the centre of the city, the staff were so friendly and welcoming when checking in as well as speaking an amazing english. The rooms were large and soundproof, we had two restaurabts below us and didnt hear a thing. There is a restaurant, pool and gym but we didnt get the chance to use them. I will definetly stay again when i am in porto.

The property is located in a very busy part of the city, however the windows and black out shades are so good, I did not hear a sound. I was worried about that. I would recommend this hotel to any light sleeper. The breakfast buffet is outstanding. I never go to a buffet normally as I find them overpriced or lacking healthy options. This hotel has everything you can think of and it's delicious, beautiful and very reasonably priced. I stayed there for a week and met many of the staff. Everyone there is amazing and made me feel at home. i was sad to leave.

This is probably one of the best hotel I have stayed in Europe. Highly recommended. The hotel is welcoming, clean and the decor is warm and pleasant. Breakfast has plenty of choice to choose from. Room is clean and decent size, air con is working nicely.

Very clean and well presented. Comfortable bed. Lots of space. Very good soundproofing as there's a lively rooftop bar nearby and couldnt hear it all with the terrace door shut.

This is a new and clean hotel with friendly helpful staff. Staff made many recommendations and reservations for us for food, laundry and sites to visits, all the details were well explained and worked wonderfully. The location is about 15-30 minutes to walk to most Porto sites so be prepared for getting your steps in otherwise plan on using Uber. Having a pool at the end of a fun filled day was very welcomed!

The hotel is located in the historic section of Porto, so it is easy to walk to most attractions. The staff is efficient and friendly. The only suggestion for improvement is that there should be more chairs around the swimming pool.
