"So, to frame this review I specifically chose this property due to the proximity to The Mountain Winery, which brought me to the area. Also I do not like to stay at “chain” properties. This is definitely an old style motel type property, one employee at the desk, outdoor entrances. The room was definitely small, but included a coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave. The carpet definitely needs replacing and the entire room could use a refurbishing. There were quite a few ants we noticed upon arrival, but nothing major. We were allowed to check in early and check out late with no fee which was great. We only stayed one night. The bed was comfortable. The shower had good water pressure, but like everything I feel the place could use a refresh. Also, the price while probably reasonable for the area, seemed high for the product. Skip the free breakfast and walk to town."

"Wonderful hosts and a fabulous property! Main level with a primary bedroom plus en suite bathroom; upstairs with a great office area plus two bedrooms for the kiddos and a bathroom. Downstairs basement was perfect with a very large room, laundry, and another bathroom. Communication was fantastic. We have already booked a second stay at this location. :)We stayed for a month and we were provided a cleaner halfway through. Even the cleaner was very sweet and has been with the owners for many years.Lovely backyard space. Lots of green and very relaxing. One note for dog owners… We brought a portable folding long metal fence because the yard in the back connects directly to the driveway with no fence there. If you have a dog that wants to wander, just FYI it’s not fully fenced!Thank you again for the hospitality! Lovely property!!!"

"This is truly a great little guest house in the beautiful Los Altos Hills area. It's an easy commute to anywhere in the area you want to visit. The property is well setup for 2 people, comfortable bed, great bathroom and small kitchen area. The views from the outside porch are great. It's quite and very comfortable."

"I normally do not leave bad reviews, but this place was honestly unacceptable. As soon as we arrived, we got a bad feeling. The outside property looked completely trashed with garbage everywhere and broken appliances left around. We tried to ignore it and hoped the cabin itself would be better, but it was just as bad inside. The cabin looked like it had not been properly cleaned in a very long time. The bedding had mysterious stains on it, the floors were filthy and looked like they had never been mopped, and the entire place felt dirty. The bathroom was the worst part the door was practically a different color from grime, and the shower had standing water along with mildew and what appeared to be mold. To make matters worse, we could not even safely access the loft because it felt extremely unstable. The photos online are very misleading and do not reflect the actual condition of the property at all. It looks nothing like the listing and feels completely neglected. We ended up leaving almost immediately because we did not feel comfortable staying there. We contacted customer service for a refund, but the owners denied it, so it was money down the drain. Save yourself the disappointment and book somewhere else. I wish I would have gotten more photos to show but like I said I immediately left."
