8/10 Good

"It is right next to the water and has a nice position and view of the rest of the small town (village). We would stay again if we had to, as we couldn't find a place to stay in the actual town of Stranraer the Inn is located in Portpatrick). It was adequate for the price. We ate somewhere else, but the restaurant seemed busy. It was also pretty quiet for a pub/restaurant in the summer, which we appreciated."

"This hotel was in an amazing location. The view was INCREDIBLE. It is a very old property but they do a good job of trying to keep it clean, maintained and updated. It wasn’t the Ritz Carlton by any means, but it was good enough for what we needed. Close to an AMAZING golf course (walking distance) which also had a very challenging par 3 course. The staff were very helpful and we would stay here again. Food was just ok but breakfast was included in our stay so it was fine."

"A great apartment big enough for the 3 of us and the Dog, lots of walks and need to be fit to get back up the hill!!!!!!Even though we had a storm all was ok. And though other people around very quiet. Hotels and Bars busy a fab weekend"
