Great location for Historic Docks and Gunwharf Quay. The hotel was very good with all of the basic facilities that you need. Free parking at rear was a bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast included was good. Excellent value. Would use hotel again for our next visit.

Great location for the dockyard and gun wharf and steps from a great pub. Staff were polite and professional and the room was great. Very clean and had all we needed in it. Would stay again.

Superb boutique hotel! If you are visiting the Dockyard or Gunwharf it couldn't be more convenient. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Rooms aren't huge but are perfectly adequate. They are clean, the beds are comfy, the shower is great with plenty of hot water. We both had the full English breakfast which was delicious and there was plenty of it. Would definitely recommend this hotel

As per previous reviews, this property was a great place to stay. It's smack bang in Portsmouth Harbour and right next to the bus station and Gosport ferry so couldn't be more convenient if that's your goal. It is a very urban location but a nice view of the harbour on one side but the bus station on the other. Breakfast was included in the rate and Excellent! Even the coffee was great (and having just returned from France, UK coffee is normally a step down). Unlike many properties like this, there's a proper lift which is a godsend if you have heavy bags as I did. Overall Recommended

Nice boutique hotel right next to the Naval Dockyards, ferry terminal to Gosport and the railway/bus depot. Very convenient for the outlet shopping centre and Spinnaker Tower so a great base for a visit to Portsmouth. Rooms were very nice and well maintained.

An old but nice hotel. The location was perfect. My only issue is that there is no air conditioning and I was on the 3rd floor. It was hard to get to sleep. But, overall a good experience.

It is a small boutique hotel. It is close to the port( I was going on a cruise). There is no air conditioning and it was very hot. Staff were wonderful but were limited to help due to hotel rules.breakfast was limited.
