My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights in August on our honeymoon and enjoyed every minute of it!! The view from our balcony was breathtaking, and definitely worth the climb from the road (about 200 steps)! The room we had (Room Perla) was beautiful, very clean, and very spacious.
Angelo and Maria were extremely hospitable and helpful in planning our itinerary. We found this to be a great base location for sightseeing along the Amalfi coast...we were able to do Positano (2 days), Amalfi/Ravello, Capri and Pompeii (though Pompeii was pretty far). The only downside was the very squishy bus at night from the centre of Positano to the b&b, but hey, it's all part of the experience! Also, we did go during the height of tourist season.
The best part about staying here though would have to be the food! Breakfast was always fantastic - freshly baked croissants, fruits from the garden, cookies, cappuccino, etc. But the most amazing of all was dinner! This was the best meal we had during our 3-week stay in Italy. No joke. Started off with bruschetta, followed by cannelloni that melted in your mouth, followed by eggplant parmesan (that also melted in your mouth), and lava cake for dessert. And lots of homemade white wine! Amaaazing.
Thank you Mamma Rosa's for the wonderful stay!!!
