"I would’ve given this hotel a score easily if 5+ if I wouldn’t received a better response at 3am, an intoxicated man hammering the door to my room for about 20 mins, called the front desk and the phone was just put down on me. After that, the balcony chairs were scrapping and banging above the room due to a couple having some midnight fun! Otherwise, this hotel has an excellent location, service, amenities and staff (1 exception as noted above). The atmosphere is lovely, breakfast highly recommended but I do think the evening costal steakhouse is significantly overpriced."

"We stay here every year and the service is excellent. We always go full board, as the food is excellent.. I did notice that the cleaning service is not as good as previous years, but otherwise a lovely place to stay for the family."

"Excelente apartamento com tudo o que é necessário como se estivessemos na nossa propria casa, muito calmo e o lugar de garagem acesso interior para o alojamento só vem acrescentar. A 15 minutos a pé da linda praia da falésia e 5 minutos a pé de restautantes, esplanadas e supermercado. A unica coisa que se pode apontar é a ausência de ar condicionado, embora o apartamento seja muito fresco em dias de muito calor fazia falta, no entanto possui 2 ventoinhas. Sem duvida ficou no nosso roteiro para podermos voltar."

I had paid my bill the evening before and when leaving the keys back on the next morning was made to feel like I was trying to escape without paying by the nighttime reception person I had to find my payment details from evening before to prove payment. Surely this should have been noted on the computer. It left a very poor impression on what had been an excellent trip"

"I've read some odd reviews so here's my take. This is definitely a 5 star family resort. We loved it. The setting is beautiful, staff super friendly, lovely beach and the restaurants were all great - particularly the one on the beach. We stayed in a townhouse for 7 nights which worked perfectly for us, as it gave us plenty of room, separate parent and children bedrooms, a lounge area for family games at the end of each day and a kitchen for a bit of laundry, snacks and coffee. There was a seating area outside but we didn't use it much. We paid for half board which worked well for us. It was a bit of a faff having to book places and most restaurants had a small extra cost for more expensive food and drinks (plus tips) but worked out just about fine for us. We didn't find the restaurants that busy and service was excellent. Overall, a wonderful holiday. If I was being picky, I'd say the cleaners left things out on show which didn't feel 5 star, the cleaning was a little random (towels etc.), the gnats need to be sorted or screens used (bit of a nuisance), and better lighting for the main entrance when venturing out and about. But I'd definitely recommend this place - 100%"
