We were a family of 6 adults and stayed at the villa for a week in May. It’s very conveniently located, with good restaurants & bars and a mini-market just a stone’s throw away. And it’s only a 5-minute walk to the beautiful Falésia beach.
The villa itself is very clean and spacious. It’s very well equipped and furnished with more than ample furniture, both indoors and outside on the terrace by the pool. The 3 double bedrooms were en-suite, and everything is as described on the website. The pool table in the living room is a real bonus and the very clean swimming pool with its waterfall feature a real delight.
Last, but by no means least, communication with the owner, Antonio, is easy and seamless. He provided me with all the necessary info about the villa well in advance. And while we were there, he responded to the very smallest of requests, either for information or otherwise, very promptly and in perfect English! For example, the shower curtain in our room, came down all of a sudden, rod and all, while no one was in the bathroom. Antonio sent someone to see to it very promptly.
So all in all, I’d thoroughly recommend this villa to anyone wanting to visit Faro. It has all the facilities and amenities nearby, - the city vibes of Albufeira new & old town is only a15 minute taxi ride away - yet is quiet and tranquil for anyone who wants a relaxing holiday. If we go back to Faro, Antonio’s villa would be our first choice. Thank you Antonio.
