"Ted was the perfect host. The house itself was beautiful and having the alpacas nearby was a treat. The house had great amenities and was about a 10-20-minute drive from everything we wanted to do. Any questions we had were answered very rapidly by our host."

"The Lakeside Motel is a very unique destination in Prince Edward County. It's very intimate with resort vibes - a beautiful pool, onsite restaurant overlooking Lake Ontario for lunch and dinner (we enjoyed dinner - lovely staff and great food), lounging area, fire pits for s'mores, and lovely clean rooms. We were there from Monday to Thursday, so did not experience the potential busyness of a weekend stay. The pool and restaurant are welcome to outside visitors as well, with a day pass available for the pool. A morning coffee/tea/hot chocolate stand outside the main office was much appreciated. Walking distance to the town of Wellington where we dined at La Condessa (Mexican) and The Drake Devonshire (wonderful). We also hired Sam at Vintage Car Tours to take us around the County to visit wineries and cideries. Highly recommend."

"Well set up for a relaxing lake house stay! Great views of the sunset. We especially appreciated the multiple sites for relaxing with others; groups of lounging chairs on the overlook deck and around the firepit. Pairs of chaise lounges on both decks, ,long tables inside and out on the deck, so convivial! Well stocked! Sharp knives made cooking a joy. And lots of beach towels. We will be coming back!"

"We had a fantastic time at Lake Consecon Resort (Cottage #4)! The cottage itself is rustic and simple, but exceptionally clean and very comfortable—it had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway with small kids and a dog.The location is wonderful. Sitting right by the water, we were treated to lovely lake views and gorgeous sunsets and sunrises every day. On top of that, communication with the host was seamless from start to finish, and Randy, the local manager, was super helpful throughout our stay.Highly recommended—we would love to come back!"

"We had a nice two-night stay for the Canada Day holiday. The house was very clean, especially the hardwood floors, which I appreciated since we didn't bring slippers. The hot tub was great after a long day and was very easy to use.Check-in was simple with the keypad, and the large mudroom was a nice bonus for leaving shoes and bags before entering the main living space. Parking was convenient right next to the side entrance. The small TV was perfect for unwinding at night, though it would have been even better if it could move/tilt since the couch isn't centered in front of it.One thing note about the house itself is the narrow staircase to the upstairs bedroom. The steps are quite small, so going up and down felt a little intimidating. It was super hot upstairs until we turned on the separate air conditioning and fan, but still never felt quite as nice as the air flow downstairs.The window outside the main-floor bedroom doesn't have blinds, so we couldn't leave the bedroom door open for better airflow because the morning sun was too bright.Our only real concern was being awakened one morning by loud banging on the front door. We hadn't been notified that anyone would be stopping by, and after messaging Parker, he confirmed no one was scheduled to be there. Also seeing a white cargo van parked behind our car was unsettling, but it eventually left.Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend the property. Location was good enough for the beach/winery/restaurants."
