this hotel has a marvelous location if you like the sea, and the views from the terrace is simply amazing. the rooms were very clean, and serviced twice per day. nice breakfast with open buffet and choices. on the down side, the room had old Italian style plugs ( which doesn't accept apple charger for e.u.) , you have to pay for benches at the seaside (entry is free), and the age of the place shows at some points. to sum up: I've been to better rooms for this price range, but the location makes...

This was a terrific hotel -- clean, bright, modern facilities, good hot water, and thick enough walls we couldn't hear others. The breakfast options were very large, and the staff was all accommodating. I should note that there was a problem at check in, but they straightened it all out right away when I complained, so that is another good thing about the place -- they want their customers to be happy. My husband and I were in town for a race. Andrea was very welcoming and helpful. He answered all of our questions with kindness and patience. He booked taxis for us and gave us suggestions on where to eat. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here, especially because of Andrea.

We booked a suite in the Palace Suites in Trieste. Check in is done at the Continental hotel, which is nearby, and also breakfast is served there. We got an upgrade to one of the family suites. The standard, quality and location couldn't be any better. Service and welcome was attentive, speedy and extremely professional.
