"We had to clean it, there was left of energy drink cans and just kind of dirty(I understand dust, it was not that). They didn’t have clean sheets on the beds so we had to change all the bedding. They didn’t have extra king size sheet so we had to bring our own from home. Luckily our kids got there before us to so we had time to bring our own from home. They did offer to come clean, but it was late at night and we had already used our stuff and cleaned. The plumbing backed up into the shower and they couldn’t do anything about that so we had no way to take a shower after the lake and we were down a bathroom for 7 people. There is a bathtub. I left something on the property and they offered to send it to us, I was fine paying for the postage, but then they asked for an extra 25$ for the time to take it to the post office.
It was a cute house and I understand it’s old and things happen. The owners were very responsive and kind, they let us have extra people coming in and out. If the home was clean and had fresh bedding, I would probably stay there again."
"Very nice place, well maintained and clean. Did have an issue with original room, light in the bathroom was out but reception found a replacement room that was on the bottom floor. Since I am handicapped, and originally requested a bottom room, this was helpful. People were friendly and easy access to the freeway to get back on the road after staying. Breakfast was nice,was a little disappointed there was no juice."
