Better than advertised!
Amazing stay. Walking distance to everything. The best restaurants, marina and more. The place was superb. Very large and well maintained and decorated. They thought of everything. They even had wine, cheese, grapes and some food to make a spaghetti dinner. Laundry, cat food for Stella (neighbourhood cat), binoculars. The place is much larger than the pictures online. You will not be disappointed. Improvements? It had everything but a larger shower and bed would only take this from great to heaven. A wood stove. We came in May so it was not peek season. Make sure you know when restaurants are open and closed as the community has an irregular work schedule that could have you miss one of the great dinners. Do your homework on restaurants on Haida Gwaii. No homework need for this VRBO. It was amazing.

Well-Equipped, Clean, Beautiful!
My parents came to visit me in Daajing Giids and we rented this apartment. Beautiful! Space is even more spacious and chic than in the photos. Ideal location right in the centre of the village. Host even left food for us (oils, spices, onions, chocolates, wine, condiments, grapes, cheese, etc.). Communication was quick, kind and enthusiastic. We would definitely stay again!

Delighted!!
Everything was so thoughtfully arranged and provided. Cindy left us a welcome note of how to get ahold of her if needed which we didn't have to use since everything was there. Lots of information from restaurants to things to do. A great restaurant right across the street!! After 9 days on a sailboat in cramped quarters, this place was heaven. Great to have a washer and dryer too!! We give it a 5/5 and highly recommend a stay here!!

Rest and exploration
This rental property is all that it claims to be and more. Spacious, beautifully decorated and with great attention to detail. The porch boasts incredible views of the marina and ocean and is the perfect spot to read a book or sip a cup of coffee while watching eagles. Location is perfect for exploring further afield on day trips and there are restaurants and groceries within easy walking distance. If you are contemplating exploring Haida Gwaii while enjoying all the comforts of a well-appointed and welcoming accommodation, this is the perfect home base.

A little gem in Daajing Giids
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The location is great - close to everything especially Blacktail Restaurant - a must for anyone visiting Daajing Giids. Apartment is spacious, very clean and perfectly decorated. All the amenities made it feel like you were right at home. Communication with Cindy was excellent and the added little extras made us all feel so welcomed (eggs, grapes, wine, fresh picked strawberries, and dog treats). If you are looking for a place to relax and take in the beauty of Haida Gwaii, this is it! Would definitely stay here again!

Above and beyond
The communication right from booking to through out the stay was amazing. I booked the stay to celebrate Dad's 90 the birthday with one last fishing trip. The location was super close to the dock making getting there with a walker incredibly easy, super close to restaurants and grocery stores. Knowing it was a special trip the owners surprised us with a birthday cake, fresh fruit, wine and so many provisions we felt so cared for. The views from the deck were incredible, eagles every night perched on the masts of sailboats you will never tire of the view. The beds were very comfortable and apartment is lovely and has everything you could possibly need. The guys did not want to leave and we definitely will book again.

Darling Digs in Daajing Giids
Great apartment perfectly located two minutes from wharf, restaurants, grocery store and pub/off sales. Lovely redesign of classic old restaurant. Great deck to enjoy harbour action. Great place to stay
We had a wonderful stay at Dockside Daajing Giids. The location was perfect - very close to where the Haida Style boat tours leave from, and across the street from delicious eats at Blacktail Restaurant. Everything in the suite was as described in the posting. It's a spacious and comfortable set up, with a full kitchen and ample space for meals and a lovely deck for outdoor seating. Would definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous view!
We loved spending the evenings on the deck looking over the harbor and islands. This has to be one of the best views in Daajing Giids. Cindy was friendly and helpful and provided thoightful treats.

Very comfortable and funky. Very well stocked kitchen, and even a washer and dryer. Lots of towels, which was great. Communication with both Cindy and Dawn was very good.There was even a bottle each of red wine and Prosecco, along with chocolate. We felt very welcome and well cared for. We would definitely stay again and will recommend the suite.

So much room. Great location on the water. Very quiet and private. We were left wine and chocolate. In the fridge were eggs, cheese and grapes. There were all the spices anyone could want. Also coffee beans to grind our own coffee. Cindy who was managing the accommodation was very easy to contact on the phone and text and very helpful. This is a great place to stay.

My wife, granddaughter and I stayed here on our most recent trip to Haida Gwaii. We couldn't have been more satisfied with our stay. It was comfortable, eclectic, close to everything, clean and with lots of amenities. Sitting on the deck watching eagles over the inlet and the mist rolling in through the mountains while sipping the nice Chilean Cabernet left by the host is one of my peak travel experiences. On my wanderings I've stayed in Marriotts, Hyatts, Hiltons, Scottish and Irish farmhouses and a trailer out in the New Mexican desert but of all of them this is the place I would most like to return to. It even had a friendly neighborhood cat. A magical stay in a magical place.

Great central place to stay
We had a great stay. Right in the centre of everything. The apartment is newly renovated and well done. Kitchen had everything we needed for any meal. Comfortable bed. Great view from the deck. Would definitely stay again.

Haida Gwaii apartment
The rental was more then expected. All was well thought out from the decor, good quality bedding towels etc, the kitchen was well stocked including a selection of staples to begin your stay and a hand written note to welcome you to your vacation home. The views from the deck was lovely and the little black cat who made her rounds was a fun surprise. Treats for the cat were provided in a jar at the front door. Great restaurant across the road called Blacktail for dinner. Enjoyed eating at the Village Hearth down the street. Let’s not forget Jag’s for breakfast by Skidegate. Isabel’s natural food store was also just down the street as well as a convenience store and a eclectic store called Funk It next door. We would highly recommend this place and hope to return in the future. Loved our stay on Haida Gwaii

We had a lovely stay at this funky and fun property. It lived up to its promise with a full kitchen, sitting area and several tables to eat or work at including one on the deck with a view of the marina. The location is great as everything is across the street. The hosts were attentive, friendly and had thought of everything we need. We are grateful we had such a great place to stay.

Spacious and Tasteful!
This property is very spacious for up to 4 people and is so tastefully decorated. The beds are new and comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped and there are tons of towels and extra blankets. There isn’t a more central location in Queen Charlotte but it was also very quiet. View from the window/deck is terrific. Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable!
