Convenient location next to the central train station. We requested and received a room away from the train station which kept things quiet. The staff was very helpful and the spa area was a big plus. Would definitely stay here again. I only wish ESPN was included in the channels so I could get a recap of how my teams back in the states were doing.

This staff were all super friendly and helpful and the breakfast was superb. I never saw my husband eat so much for breakfast in 43 years. He gained a much needed 5 pounds and I'm sure it was the breakfasts! But the pool is a must experience as it is like swimming in a grotto. Also loved the proximity to Central train station to easily travel for site-seeing.

I thoroughly enjoyed my recent stay at the Sofitel Munich Bayerpost from the 6th to 10th September 2026, in Room 453. While running a successful hotel is undeniably a team effort, I would like to highlight three team members whose exceptional service made my visit truly memorable. First, Vaton was outstanding. Despite a minor hiccup at check-in, he resolved the issue with remarkable efficiency, attentiveness, and care. He made a fantastic initial impression, which he went above and beyond to reinforce by personally checking in with me the following day to ensure everything was to my satisfaction. Vaton is a stellar ambassador for the Sofitel brand. Second, I would like to recognise the female housekeeper looking after Room 453 (whose name I regrettably missed). My room was kept consistently spotless, perfectly stocked, and maintained to an immaculate standard throughout my four-night stay. Her attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Finally, Sarah stood out for her warm and intuitive hospitality during breakfast. She struck the perfect balance between proactive service when needed and giving me space to relax and enjoy my morning. Her constant dedication to ensuring every guest had a pleasant dining experience was impressive. Thank you to the entire team at Sofitel Munich Bayerpost for your hospitality and excellent service. I look forward to returning on my next visit to Munich.

The room was supposed to luxury but it was rather small. The phone did not work . I had to call an Engeneer. I called reception numerous times- no reply. My lamp on the deck was not working, I was not able to use any body wash and shampoo - bottles were dead. I am a disabled person on crutches, yet I was given the room to reach it I had not pass one corridor, second one. the last room at 3rd corridor was mine. The staff here do not care! I did not like swinging pool- too dark , to shallow. I did not took breakfast- at 4( Euro it sounded too much fur what you want to eat in the morning, it was convenient location for me; the bed was fine , airconditioning working.
