A large hotel, very friendly staff. The best breakfast buffet I’ve ever had in my life as I travel. It had everything you want. It was all just so delicious location was excellent in walking distance to so many places.

This is a great hotel. It is right in the old town and has everything that you could possibly need including gym, coffee shop near the reception and good clean room. The rooms are small but they are clean and the location can not be beat.

Platzl Hotel Munich is truly exceptional. The staff were absolutely wonderful — warm, attentive, and consistently professional throughout my stay. Breakfast was amazing, with a wide selection of fresh, high‑quality dishes that made every morning enjoyable. The restaurant was fantastic as well, offering delicious Bavarian and international options in a beautiful setting. Lovely hotel, convenient central location. Classic decor, comfortable rooms. Staff were welcoming and attentive. We had requested and they pre-arranged a walking tour with a local guide (Alex) who was excellent. We declined breakfast as it was pricey, especially for light eaters. We opted instead for the bakery/coffee shop adjacent the lobby. Very pleasant stay overall.

The hotel is in the heart of Munich and that was a huge plus for us. The hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. We did not initially purchase the room with breakfast but ended up having breakfast there everyday because it was really great with lots of healthy options. If we visit Munich again we will definitely stay at Platzl Hotel.
