Grand Hyatt Baha Mar

"We had a great vacation at the Hyatt Baha Mar. The grounds are beautiful and very well kept. Room was very nice and kept clean. Hotel staff were mostly very helpful and friendly. There is a lot to do on the property, so every day we did something different. I did lots of research prior to the trip, but here are a couple of things that I did not see mentioned: Although the property has many pools, they have MANY "reserved" chairs/loungers that must be rented for use. They take up the best spaces at each pool for these reserved seats, and I barely saw any of them used. They go for about $75-$100 per chair rental, so I'm not surprised. It seems so wasteful to take up all of the best lounging spaces in the hopes of people paying extra for the chair. I also was under the assumption that each of the 3 properties could use each other's pools. However, one day we went to sit at one pool and were shoo-ed away by a hotel worker stating that since we weren't guests at the Rosewood, we could not sit at that pool. With the setup of the properties, it can be a little confusing to know which building owns which pool, and so I asked but was not given an answer on how to tell where we were allowed to sit. As others stated, the property is very expensive, but we knew that going in and still had a great vacation."

"We had an amazing time in NASSAU! This was our first time traveling out of the US. We did not plan on getting a rental but was not staying at a resort so need to get around. They had a jeep we could rent at the residence. This made our trip so much more enjoyable to be able to get around once we got used to driving on the opposite side! The pool was wander full to jump in and relax every night. The house was very big and spacious. We were able to cook and have a few meals at the residence. They were very helpful and always around keeping things cleaned up or assisting if needed. Offered to take us to Airport on last day. I would recommend this residence if you planned on staying on the Iland. It was close to shopping and not far from visiting Alantice. We had a wonderful much need family vacation."

"Simone is probably one of the best hosts I've ever stayed with. She was very responsive, extremely helpful and kind. We almost felt like we were staying with relatives. Definitely would recommend to anyone, and the location was within walking distance to a lot of places i.e. the fish fry and the city. Also the cottage was very clean and comfortable."

"The property was very clean and quiet and the staff were very helpful with check in instructions promptly. The property is next to a convenience store and about 10 short blocks from Downtown Nassau. Walking distance from major tourist attractions like Pirates Museum and Junkanoo Beach. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"New Clean Place , Location we had a local bus across the street and grocery story about 5-7 walk . Also Store to buy items like Chairs or umbrellas or coolers towels for the beach. Food and liquor store also 5-10min walk. Local bar was 1-2 mins walk excellent jerk food for 14$. We walked everywhere during the day time and people were very nice saying hello and helpful if we asked for directions. If u wanna stay local and eat local and meet local people, this is that place. "
