"Property was well-maintained and staff were phenomenal. However, I had trouble sleeping at times because there were a lot of people at the hostel being noisy and people driving very loud cars outside the window while I was asleeep. That is my only issue. No issues in regards to how it is managed or maintained. There are only two refrigerators and space is very limited and crowded in the fridges. Staff explained how to label food items, and nobody took any food I had stored. There are daily activities, all of which were fun. I enjoyed meeting other people from all over the world and sharing stories with them. Overall, I rate Howzit Hostels 4 out of 5 stars, due to heavy noise."

"Our stay was amazing. The staff was sweet and the hospitality was as well! Only the pool was closed but they made up for it by letting their customers go next door to the Marriott pool which is right next door..All was truly beautiful and highly recommended!!..Mahalo ❤️ 👌 😀"

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the property was very well stocked. We had some issues at check-in which the host very graciously resolved, but it did impact the first day of our vacation. Unfortunately, there is also no longer beach access as stated in the listing [washed away and completely rocky/inaccessible with a roped-off sign and everything], so that was inaccurate. And the nearby public access was not great-- super rocky and too rough surf for our 3 kiddos. At the end of the day, the location was central, the condo itself was good and our kids enjoyed the pool, but the lack of beach access [still a great view!] was a bummer... though still probably one of the most inexpensive places to stay with 6 people on the island."

"Excellent accommodations for my family- my husband is disabled and we had a handicapped parking spot almost every day and the ground level condo was so convenient. So close to a wonderful beach- Haycraft Beach Park and many things."

"The cutest hotel in the perfect location on Maui! Close to lots of local cafes and restaurants, and the beach was maybe a 10 minute drive away. The room itself was super cute and tasteful, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We’ll be staying here again the next time we’re in Maui!"

"This is not a hotel or motel. You need to slide open the gate in order to enter and leave the property. The grounds keeper was very helpful and a pleasure to visit with. Shared bathroom and very clean."
