They even recommended a really good taxi driver that we used the whole time we were in Ljublana. However, the room was not very clean. "We received the check-in instruction the day before, everything went smoothly. Parking right beside of the apartment gate, very useful to have the apartment on the ground floor for luggage. Apartment looked new, kitchen has no oven or microwave or dishwasher or washing machine, but well equipped to cook small meals. It is like 2km from the town center or less than 10min drive. "First up, we really REALLY loved our stay here. It’s in such a great location, the staff are so friendly, the city is such a buzz. But there are a few cons with the room we had. The main thing that let it down, and this sounds really trivial, but the wall facing the room is “glass”, so you pulled a curtain across for privacy. Plus, as we later figured out, a towel hook had fallen off the wall, landed about a third of the way across the doorway, and stuck fast. I stubbed my toe badly, and am still hobbling. We realised, when the second hook fell off, that it served no purpose. The breakfasts are brilliant, the mattress is super, the pillows are not, and the roof top pool area is a blast. It’s really a fabulous place to stay in an amazing city. Thank you to all the wonderful staff!!"
