"Old world charm in a 200 years old building. Modern furnishings. Spacious and very well located. Best to pay for parking through the hotel/restaurant than try to save on street parking."

"The location was incredible! Staying within the pedestrian area, straight across the river from the castle and dozens of restaurants, was ideal. No traffice noise, easy walking distaince to everything. It was also right next to the university; great for a conference I was attending. We appreciated having the extra space, and the little kitchenette, for our extended stay (a full week). However, the bed was quite hard, and there was a dried-up old sausage hiding in the back corner of the microwave (which we only discovered after we'd used it once already!). They are doing their best with balancing maintaining the 250+ year old historical feel versus the need to have a safe, modern property, so understandably some things are going to be a bit worn (spaces in the wood floor panels that pinched our feet, uneven treads on the stairs, etc.). Overall, if you keep "it's an old building on purpose" in mind, it really is a fantastic place to stay. Highly recommend!!"

"The location of this hotel was perfect for us to explore the waterfront area of Ljubljana for a couple of days. We had a junior suite which was larger than we needed but a nice change after some of the small European hotel rooms we stayed in during this trip. It was a little odd having a window next to the toilet with no blinds. It’s got a frosted design in it but that was weird. The sofa in the room was not comfortable. The seat cushions wouldn’t stay on it so we avoided it. But the bed was very comfortable which was most important to us. Also, the front desk guys were great and even made my husband a couple of drinks from their tiny little bar in the lobby late one night when I didn’t feel like going out to a bar. I recommend this hotel."
