"Restaurant food was excellent, though limited in selection. Arctic char and lamb were superb. This hotel is a sleeping place in preparation for the incredible Landmannalaugur mountain and hiking area, both well worth Icelandic prices!"

"A really amazing property and possibly my favorite of our week long trip. We were only here one night, but it was perfect. The view was incredible and the space very clean. My only very small and easy to fix complaint was that all the amenities weren’t listed or were unclear. There is nowhere very close to eat or get groceries so we planned to only have a kettle. When we got we had a set up for an electric cook top, pan, and some other things. Also, it wasn’t as clearly listed that we would have access to a shared space with hot tub, large sauna, coffee bar, lounge area. These were all things that made our night better, so I thought they should be more clearly listed. We very much enjoyed our stay and would like to go back some time!"

"Wonderful and unique place to stay. Make sure to get the igloo with the bathroom. We were surprised how clear the dome was to see the stars and we were so lucky to see an incredible aurora from the comfort of our bed. "

"The cabin was cozy, quiet, comfortable, and clean. Agust was a wonderful host and we enjoyed talking with him at breakfast. He made our stay memorable and we learned a lot about Iceland. Highly recommended!"

"Great location for the Golden Circle and Aurora hunting. Host was super helpful, friendly, and communicative. Made guests waffles in the morning. You can store food in fridge or freezer. Kitchen is great for prepping own meals. Coffee and tea is available! Rooms were clean and comfortable "

"This hotel is a great stop along the ring road. We stayed here our last night before leaving and it was perfect. Close to a lot of sights. It has a bistro in it and a lot of great amenities!"
