Beautiful hotel in Ravello

Great hotel within steps of the main square with friendly staff. My room was quite large with a queen and a twin bed. The staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions. I was there at the end of the season in early November, so it was quiet and lovely.

Amazing view to Amalfi

Since it was off season the hotel was almost empty. We received a very nice room with nice view. It was raining so we decided to eat in the hotel and eventually the dinner and parking and cocktails became very expensive….

This property is amazing for what you pay for it. Rooms are HUGE. Tons of room for your luggage. Advertised with air conditioning but we had no air conditioning. We opened the window at night only to find that this is located next to the local apartments and kids stay up screaming til 3 am. Breakfast is below average. Views are good from the terrace. Pool is very small. Please note that if you arrange a driver from the airport it is CASH only. 10% surcharge with credit card.

Firstly, Ravello is a beautiful town. Hotel Bonadies is ideally situated at one end. The hotel could do with a few minor upgrades in regards to decor but don’t let that detract from the overall charm of the place. The room was a decent size with excellent aircon, clean and well equipped. The breakfast was a decent buffet style. There are two main reasons why you should stay here. The staff were super helpful, especially Vincenzo who organised surprises for my wife’s birthday. Secondly, the views are amazing. Some of the best in Ravello.

We took the bus from Amalfi up to Ravello/the last bus stop on the route and it was about a 10-minute (albeit uphill) walk from the bus stop to the hotel. Upon arrival, the man at the front desk was extremely welcoming throughout the entire check-in process. We noticed an ants problem in our original room but immediately got moved to another room once we notified the front desk. Breakfast is plentiful and had lots of options and it's hosted in their restaurant which has a beautiful view from the balcony. Pool has limited hours and limited seats, but nice if you can make it in. Showers have weak pressure but no other issues overall. Would love to stay again in the future.

Ravello and Hotel Bonadies is truly a unique experience. The views from the hotel are second to none, it almost doesn’t feel real. The staff were fantastically helpful and friendly. We were at the end of our trip and would probably lose our heads if they weren’t attached to our bodies. The room we stayed in opened up to a massive balcony overlooking the coast and mountains. We had a comfortable stay, the only feedback would be that the bathroom light flickered like a strobe and the door kept getting stuck. Breakfast was also fantastic. We would love to return.
