"It’s a great family hotel to stay at if you have young kids. My daughter enjoyed the waterpark and arcade a lot!"

"Entrance isn't marked clearly. Room had an odor, bathroom wasn't overly clean. TV volume had a mind of its own, looked like a dog had chewed remote. Room was spacious. Floors looked liked they were new. Bed was comfortable. Check in and out was easy."

"Room was clean, staff was nice, pool absolutely disgusting. This hotel is a homeless shelter and should not be on here. The people in there walk around completely soaked in the hallways men sitting with legs open in pool area kids spitting all in the pool. My kids could not swim in that, they were so upset. But this is a yucky yucky homeless shelter I do not recommend. "

"Absolutely beautiful hotel. One of America’s Historial hotels. Room was in the small side but that goes with the history. We had dinner in the restaurant which was gorgeous and very reasonable and the breakfast (not included) was fab."

"Staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was cold, and while we were there a group of about 20 teens came in and took over the place. Very loud and inconsiderate, splashed us as we were leaving. Breakfast was fantastic, as was everything else. I"

"My husband and I were in the area for a surgery and because of a reservation mishap at a different hotel we found ourselves having to make a same day reservation at Candlewood. Doug and the rest of the staff made our arrival and check in a breeze, they were even able to accommodate our special requests. The only odd things about this hotel is that it’s built a bit awkwardly with a split entrance way that made things feel cramped leading to the front desk. Also the one ice machine in the hotel was hit or miss and had to be reset twice before it started working - but overall neither of these oddities were big enough to detract from what was a comfortable and convenient stay."
