"I had to take one star off, which was a shame because this place was phenomenal from the staff to the facility to the amenities – it was first class all the way, except… For the bed. That had to be one of the worst sleeps in the most uncomfortable mattress I have had in a hotel in a very long time! I actually wanted to get up in the middle night and go sleep in the beautiful hammock because I had a better nap in the afternoon than I did in that bed hard as a rock. The sheets are soft. The pillows are amazing but that bed- ugh Everything else definitely five star high-end I also want to point out. I was disgusted by some of the city travelers that came up and how they treated the staff. I want to remind people that money does not equal class and being respectful and kind is free that you should practice. The staff did a phenomenal job navigating some very rude individuals"

Cedar Cove Cabin Steps to Sauble Beach

"We stayed from Friday to Wednesday (June 19 - 24) and couldn’t be happier with our first time renting. The communication with the owner was easy and very responsive pre rental. The cabin and property was exactly as shown online. Checking in was easy and the cabin had lights on for us and the radio was playing when we entered ( a nice touch ). It was spotless, there was a variety of condiments to use if wanted, the ac worked perfectly, plenty of hot water for showers, WiFi was strong and the beds were comfortable. Outside area was large both front and back and was very private. We had fires 2 nights at the cozy area in the back. Plenty of chairs front and back(we didn’t need to have brought ours). The gas bbq was clean and worked great. The beach is literally a 5 minute walk done a private path. So is the downtown area. We plan on staying at the cabin again next year, probably later in the summer when the water is warmer!!! Brrrrr."

"There aren’t a lot of low-cost options in Wiarton, and we are not high maintenance. This motel suited our purposes and we have no major complaints. The price was very good. The location was great for our hike to Lionsheadand the beds were comfortable. Nothing fancy about this motel and we would stay there again. The remote control didn’t work for the TV and we could’ve told the staff and I’m sure they would have fixed it, but we just manually changed channels and it worked fine for us."
