"The two rooms we stayed at were great, providing both me and my friends space and privacy. The cabin with loft was such a lovely space to be in and relax. We all really appreciated the hot tub to relax in at the end of a long day and the view was so gorgeous. It was easy to communicate with Lukas and he was very accommodating to our needs. It was simple enough to have our dog with us and used a side panel fence to separate areas between the front and backyards. To use the bathroom you do have to go through the other bedroom which was ok for our situation. I would recommend the mattress be updated for the room attached to the bathroom. Parking was easy on the street and the neighborhood felt very safe, quiet and peaceful. My friends and I would definitely love to return to this spot in the future. "

"In Oakland for a wedding and family stayed in the house. Quiet neighborhood. Convenient to grocery store and activities in Oakland.House clean. We had what we needed in the kitchen.Washing machine was broken but owner said it was in the process of being fixed."

"We booked this property on fairly short notice after another reservation was canceled on us, and we felt fortunate to find such a nice spot to be our home base for our daughter's dropoff for her first year at UC Berkeley. The safe and beautiful location was ideal for our last-minute Target/Ikea/etc. runs and it was easy to get DoorDash and enjoy home meals with the gorgeous view. We also had some nice meals out, especially dinner at Lake Chalet on Lake Merritt and lunch outdoors at Broderick Roadhouse in Walnut Creek, as well as Super Duper Burgers near campus for a quick and convenient meal. If you're hoping to use the pool, be ready to use the skimmer because it's beautifully wooded around the property, and splurge on the heating option because even in late August it was chilly without.Our hosts were super polite and responsive and we can see why they will soon be achieving super host status!"

"Very gracious host.Wonderful communication. We gifted my son and daughter-in-law two nights away from children. They absolutely loved the location and said the view was spectacular. I hope we can have them stay at this location again "

"GREAT VIEW, very nice house with great decor, and many personal touches. Great kitchen, 3 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. however there are few things we like to point out: 1. if you need help, you are dealing with AI !!! 2. the fancy coffee / barista Breville espresso machine did not work until we completely cleaned up the messes from previous renters. we watched utube clips how to work this machine ! 3. in the first night (at 10.30pm) my husband had to run back to the grocery store and buy more/ extra toilette paper that we would have enough for the next morning ! the cleaning service was not doing their jobs ! 4. the upstairs bedroom had security issues. the door to the upstairs balcony only closed - locking up securely was not possible. 5. one more : we rented the house for 6 days and we found only 2 tabs of dish washing detergents. this is not enough if there are 6 people for 6 days in the house! cleaning crew should do a better job! we paid a fairly steep price for renting and for cleaning services ! we LOVED the view of the entire Bay, beautiful to sit in the dining area and living room and to enjoy the fireworks for 4th of July on the top balcony, too. "
