"After some time being tourists in Europe, a week in Anna's villa in Tuscany was just the tonic which was required. Arnaldo was available nearby for anything which needed assistance. The pool and the Tuscan sun were an inevitable combination. "The pictures don't do the place justice. This villa is like something out of a Hollywood Rom Com set in an idealistic fictional Tuscan village. Not only is the villa and the views from every window simply stunning, the town of Loro Cuifena is one of the prettiest villages in all of Italy. The ONLY downside is that the drive up the mountain to the villa is not for the feint of heart."

"We had the most amazing time at Il Poggio! The property is well maintained, Roberta and Marina were incredible, and the location could not be beat. We took day trips (by car) to Siena, Arezzo, Florence, Orvieto, and Montalcino, all of which were easily and quickly accessible. "Our stay was amazing. The location was beautiful and easy for us to explore the surrounding area with ease. The house was beautiful, very clean and our host was most gracious. Upon arrival we had made a passing comment on how beautiful the patio terrace was and how a fire pit would be a nice touch so that we could enjoy it longer into the cool night.
