Located at Palm Island Resort on Florida’s Southwest Gulf Coast. No bridges or causeways to the island exist, which ensures a relaxed, tropical vacation setting.
The island resort encompasses a two-mile portion of private, pristine beaches on the northern end of Palm Island.
Guests travel to the island via car ferry and park their car in our island parking area. Transportation is provided by our bell staff and golf carts are also available for rent for registered guests.
Enjoy access to one of the 5 heated pools, plus hot tub and gas BBQ grills.
Tennis courts available for play and always complimentary.
Our recreation center, Coconuts, offers a variety of rentals to include golf carts, bicycles, kayaks and beach umbrellas.
A full service concierge can also arrange for everything from massages to fishing charters.
Join a complimentary water aerobics class, nature walk or yoga on the beach when scheduled. Whether you wish to spend your time with us on the go or taking it slow, you’re sure to enjoy your new Memories at the Speed of Old Florida.

Great Condo

Reviewer Comments: Beautiful view out our sliding glass windows to the beach; Condo was clean, updated, fully stocked with everything a family could need or want to do their own cooking; comfortable beds and furniture; close to pools and beach area. Very happy and highly recommend.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 20th year staying on palm island. This year did not disappoint. The weather was wonderful and all five of our groups were equally pleased with the entire 9 day stay. The only complaint we had was that the sheets in the master bedroom would not stay on the bed, and the washing machine leaked and was extremely loud. Another minor but not a deal breaker for us, was that both bathrooms are en suites... meaning if you have anyone over they have to go through one of the bedrooms to use. Other than that it was great. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils you could need which was a nice surprise. Would choose this unit again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Family of 4...The property location is fabulous. The grounds are amazing and perfect distance to pool, tennis, store, and beach. On the condo specifically, we felt it was clean when we arrived and simple. Furniture and porch were great. Couple things could be improved to make this a five star. The deck posts were rotten and need to be replaced. Could be dangerous for small kids. The kitchen was great but the cutlery, pots and pans, kitchen supplies is sparse at best. Needs to be upgraded. Fans need to be rewired or replaced. Tough to get them to turn on. Finally, the AC didn't seem to keep the home cool. We kept doors closed and it struggled. Need to add freon or fix. Over all we were pleased with the stay. The beach was amazing and we caught fish off the beach every day. If you want to leave the island early, It is tough to get help with your luggage before 8am. We will be back to the resort but will chose a condo that has been upgraded a bit more.

Disappointing

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We reserved our villa in February for a June trip. The staff did not apprise us of changing our villa, this was discovered when confirming. Be aware there is NOTHING available in the condo. You must bring EVERYTHING including coffee filters for a very worn Mr Coffee. It costs $55 dollars (roundtrip) anytime you leave on the ferry and golf carts are 110 for the weekend. Make sure to leave 45 min for the ferry due to possible long lines. Barge takes about 6 cars per trip. Be sure you have EVERYTHING you need for meals. Nothing is available on island. We had a villa for 5 and recieved 2 towel sets. The .kitchen is bare bones. Staff on the island were nice and fixed the towel issue. Booking staff were horrid and noncommunicative. They are not familiar of their multipage rules that require a presignature. I can think of better places to spend 2200 for a weekend. Disappointing.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Got together with fraternity brothers and wives to relive old adventures and create new ones. Weather cooperated for fun boat outings. Only negative was our building was being reroofed during our stay (thanks to Hurricane Ian), which created a lot of noise in the unit all day. Also Rum Bay closed earlier than advertised on the web site, so we had to scramble for dinner one night.

Spring Break Trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great trip. This is hands down one of the best beaches we’ve been to. It was perfect for our young daughter. The Ferry ride was easy and the Bellman was exceptionally helpful and wonderful with our daughter. The unit was very nice adequate for what we needed. It was clean, but could use some updating. Also, we were not able to use the back stairs out to the pool/beach because they were broken and boarded up. The food at the restaurant on property was good, but we were ready for a change after a few days. We did not have a good experience at Leverocks and would not recommend it. Poor service and the food was not very good either. There seemed to be some communication issues between the different department at the resort (front office, restaurant, boat taxi, etc.). This was an issue for us having to leave early from dinner because we were told by the hostess that the boat taxi would t come back to get us. Overall it was a great trip and lots of wonderful memories were made.

The disposal was stopped up when we arrived and made the unit smell of old food. We cleaned it with disposing of ice cubes through the garbage disposal and that helped. The double doors to the master bedroom wouldn't latch all the way. Overall we enjoyed our stay and loved the island.

Unfortunately the AC was not working in our unit and that took a few hours to get that fixed. The unit was conveniently located to pool and beach. The unit itself was dirty. The kitchen mat was dirty/stained and the shower curtain liner was dirty. The porch was dirty with a dirty ashtray on table rotting wood on steps. Would not recommend this unit.

Reviewer Comments: The resort was beautifully maintained and clean, the staff at the resort and restaurant as well as Coconuts and the gift shop were welcoming and friendly. My unit was very clean and had every amenity you could think of. We stayed on property for the duration of our stay and my kids who are normally glued to their devices didn’t ask once to use them. We traveled with multiple families that stayed on the resort/island, which made it a lot of fun. Highly recommend staying here and we will be back for sure because we made memories at Palm Island that will last a lifetime!!!
