"This turned out to be a great location for a mini break in Hamburg, central to all the main sites and right next to a U-Bahn station if you don't fancy walking! The s-Bahn from the airport, Stadthausebrucke is just round the corner. We didn't have breakfast as a bit pricey but bakeries and shops nearby. Good restaurants not too far, Buon Giorno and lots around Grossneumarkt. The room itself was extremely spacious, comfortable with basic but useful facilities. The hotel itself has been restored very well, feels very relaxing and the staff are very friendly and keen to help. For the quality we felt this was exceptional value and if ever back in Hamburg will look no further!"

"I loved its proximity to the airport. After the long flight, it was wonderful to be able to rest before heading to our final destination. The breakfast was pretty good. It was expensive but worth the convenience. The restaurant did not take cash which was inconvenient for some people in our group."

"The location at the top of The Reeperbahn is fantastic and the hotel is certainly a step up from the some of the other hotels in the area. As I was with a friend I choose this hotel because of the larger bedroom and this turned out to be fine. There is plenty of space in the room, a larger bathroom and a separate desk and two chairs that can be used. Check in was fine. When it was staffed, the bar, coffee area was fine. Unfortunately, on two occasions I waited for drinks, once for coffee in the morning and once for a beer in the early afternoon, but no staff were there so I left. At check out, nobody was on reception so we left our cards on the counter. The aircon in the room either didn’t work, is rubbish or needs a science degree to work it – this was annoying as it was 25 degrees on the days we were there. We were on the 7th floor and the wait for the list can be long. On the whole this is a nice hotel. I wish they had more staff on in the morning/afternoon and waiting 4/5 minutes for the lift is annoying but I would probably stay here again if the price is right."
