"This is a great place to stay when in St. John! A shuttle was waiting to take us to the property when we got off the ferry. Our rental car was also waiting for us at Gallows. We loved being able to walk to town for dinner. The convenience store on site had all of the basics and everything we needed! Great views from the property. Pool was nice. I would give five stars except our shower wasn't working and it took two days to fix it."

"A short mountainous drive from ferry. If it's your first tim on the island I might print out a map, the WiFi can go in and out and finding the turns after dark is tricky. Room was spacious and clean. Beautiful grounds with amazing view."

"This property is beautiful! We had a few hiccups with a few things but overall a great stay. The properly manage was very responsive on text and the house is well stocked. You definitely need a four wheel drive vehicle here. We had an AWD vehicle for the first few days and had to change (due to the rental car company) and got a 4x4 and it was so much easier. We would definitely stay here again!"

"The view was great, the pool was great, the property manager was wonderful! This is the only reason I give a 3 star review. There are some issues with the home. We were in St. John with my family, 8 people which included two infants. We found when we arrived that the two bedrooms on the lower level did not connect (this is where my daughter's family were supposed to stay). Not only did they not connect but on both sides, you had to go down a spiral staircase that sounded like the boards were all going to break. On one side water from rain leaked through on stairs which could have been very dangerous if my daughter-in-law had not noticed it.The pool was beautiful, but they had this wonderful sliding glass door, in the great room, that completely opened yet the screens did not close plus they were pretty ripped up. The kitchen floor was pretty dirty, so I tried to clean as best I could, (which really wasn't my job). The is for sale (which I did not know) and they wanted to show it while we were there. After discussion with my family, we did let them come. This unit was not worth the money I paid for it, especially the cleaning fee since I did a lot of cleaning."
