"Our family had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this property. PROS: The home is beautiful, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything needed for our vacation. Its location is excellent, close to Cruz Bay yet convenient to many of the island’s beaches. We appreciated the provided beach chairs, coolers, and other essentials, which made outings easy. The pool was fantastic, and the ocean views from the outdoor spaces were stunning. The property manager was knowledgeable and shared helpful recommendations that made planning easier. He was also gracious in helping us with a couple of small requests. CONS: Communication could be improved. Before arrival, we didn’t know how we would access the home until we were already on the ferry, which caused some uncertainty. We also found clothing left in a dresser from a previous guest. Since guests must take trash to a roadside dumpster, clearer instructions would have been helpful. We lost water one evening and initially had trouble reaching the property manager, but once we reached out to secondary contacts, they responded quickly and had maintenance restore service within an hour. Overall, these were minor issues in an otherwise outstanding stay. The home is exceptional, the views are spectacular, and the property manager is a wealth of information. With a bit more proactive communication, this would easily be a five-star stay."

Stunning Views, Peaceful Location, Large Pool & Minutes from Cruz Bay

"We had a group of 6 adults for the week. There was more than adequate space for our group. I was not aware when we booked that the two bedrooms on the lower level did not access the main living room and kitchen space. Our crew on the lower level sure did get our steps in for the week! Also, the drive way was incredibly steep. Those are two things I would have like to known. Katja, the manager, was accessible via cell phone/text messages, so the few things we needed fixed/repaired went straight to her. The house has an awesome view of the Caribbean Sea, the weather was perfect and we made most all of our meals in the well appointed kitchen."

"Property was exactly as advertised. Check-in and communication with property management was smooth and easy. We enjoyed our evenings at the house after long days exploring the island and snorkeling. Lots of time spent on the deck looking out over the water playing dominoes and listening to music. The breeze off the water kept the house comfortable, and we had the balcony doors open the full time to take advantage. Would highly recommend, and will be booking again."

"Elise is the perfect host. Helpful, professional, accommodating, kind and friendly. We've been to St John multiple times over the last ten years and this was an exceptional choice for us. Convenient to everything on the island. The breeze was absolutely phenomenal and kept the living area comfortable all day and night. The view is spectacular and much better in person. We enjoyed the sugar birds. They are a special gift. We would not hesitate to return here on our next trip to the the island."

"Our stay here was wonderful! The setting is lovely and peaceful. It's on a hill, and much of St. John is hillside living and driving. It isn't a fancy place, yet all the basics are there for a pleasant, restful vacation, with a few extras that made it an even better experience. . It's close to Cruz Bay with access to the road leading to the beaches. Communication with the host once we were there was very good. It is solar powered, a big plus as island power is not always dependable. While we were there we did not need the AC, as the windows provided great cross breezes."

"It was so hard to leave the hammock on breezy porch! The villa is absolutely charming and comfortable, and clean as a whistle. Very cute and unique architecture inside. Location was easy to find, James met us at our car rental. You get used to driving on the left pretty fast! I wouldn’t do it but husband is a confident and competent driver. Villa had backpack chairs and a cooler we could use. The kitchen was great to cook in, we were “those kind of people” that did bring frozen foods from home. It was worth it to us to save the money. Tap water perfectly drinkable. AC in the bedroom was nice for sleeping although some nights the fans were enough. There’s plenty of room in the villa for two. The laundry was a bonus because we could pack less clothes. It was a delight to return every night from being at the beach all day and have a nice meal on the screened in porch. We didn’t use the pool much but enjoyed the deck at night to watch for constellations and satellites. James is a kind and responsive host. If the place is available, book it!!!"
