"The Summit is a 1906 grand hotel with all the trimmings associated with a historic bld. If your thing is hanging around the grand lobby, sitting in front of the fireplace chatting with other guests, this place is for you. The rooms are what you would expect in an historic Inn. The rooms meet the needs, but the lobby, bar and restaurant is the place to hang out and soak up the beautiful architecture. Id return for a longer stay. "

"Chose the Comfort Inn because the B&B we booked was not available on Sunday night. Wish our entire stay had been at the Comfort Inn. It is much nicer than the B&B and more convenient to the GAP trail. We initially chose the B&B because we expected the Comfort Inn to be on a major highway and not convenient to the trail. In fact, the Comfort Inn is on a quiet street right across from the trail. It backs up to the river and has a nice patio with outdoor tables overlooking the river. It also has a bar in the lobby and a small restaurant right next door. I would highly recommend the Comfort Inn at Connellsville over other options in the area. "

"The place is full of eye candy inside and out with attention to detail. A lot of thought and design in each room. Very comfortable and clean. Huge beautiful bathrooms. We were there on a Wednesday night in September, so only people there; a little weird with self check in and being in this giant house alone. Although the self check-in was really easy and well managed. Parking was across street up a staircase, so drop bags first. "

"Stopped at the Stone House Inn after a day of winter hiking in Ohiopyle. Our group of 4 friends had an incredible experience at the inn- the location was convenient for traveling in Ohiopyle, and the rooms were cozy with some great history. Games and breakfast were provided, dessert at the restaurant was amazing, and we were so pleasantly surprised. We will absolutely come back!"
