Very polite, helpful and just modest enough. Room condition is excellent and in great shape. "The location of Hotel Principe is absolute perfection! We took a water taxi directly to the hotel and were immediately impressed. The staff was friendly, and the American and Italian-style breakfast was excellent each morning. The room had high ceilings, plenty of space for my mom and me, and the balcony was totally worth it — we loved watching the boat traffic on the Grand Canal! The hotel’s location made getting around Venice so easy — with the water taxi right outside the steps, we could head to St. Mark’s Square or take a vaporetto to Murano and Burano effortlessly. We parked our rental car at Tronchetto Garage, and the hotel even arranged a water taxi pickup within just a few minutes of arrival. There are plenty of great restaurants and shops within walking distance. If you’re new to Venice like we were, this is the perfect place to stay. Stop looking and book it — you won’t regret it!"

"The hotel was very nice and was located in an interesting area with access to all the major sights within walking distance. One thing I wish I had understood was our room was going to be up three flights of stairs and had no elevator, this was not a deal breaker, but would have been useful information."
