This hotel is absolutely beautiful and so romantic! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and truly made us feel like royalty. We will definitely be coming back. We also loved how close it was to great restaurants. We even had our engagement photo shoot inside the hotel. It was perfect, and the photos turned out amazing!

This hotel is a work of art

Spent two nights here at the close of a week long trip in Italy. The hotel is remarkably designed and maintained, and the service is high touch without being overbearing. Daily breakfast in the courtyard was excellent and the room was extremely comfortable. 15 min walk to st marks square and tucked away from the touristic chaos. Very highly recommended!

Excellent cozy hotel

The service was excellent and the staff were very kind. The breakfast was truly wonderful. The only downside was the lack of transportation provided by the hotel — we had to either walk or take a public boat to get to St. Mark’s Square, which was quite far and tiring. However, the hotel itself was very nice.

A true Venicitian experience. A 15th century building with every modern luxury. From the moment you arrive at the hotels private garden boat dock the staff is first class. Our check in was personalized and private situated in the hotels 2nd floor sitting room. Where else can you have breakfast included in a two star Michelin restaurant. I can't recommend or praise the staff enough for allowing us to be their most important guests while we were their. Thank you for the wonderful Venetian hospitality.

I have had the opportunity to stay in many 5 star hotels across the world in my years of business and personal travel, and from the moment we departed our boat and were greeted by Luana and her staff I knew this converted residence that is now a stunning boutique hotel right on the Grand Canal was going to be incredible. If I could rate the experience more than 5 stars I would, from the canal view room and gardens to the 2 star Michelin meal, the staff goes above and beyond to ensure your experience is as personalized and unique as possible. Though all of the staff are incredible the stars of the show however, are their amazing concierges "the Giacomo's", both went out of their way to ensure that we were able to experience all that was possible, from local food recommendations specified to our needs, to the best restaurants for specific dishes, and arranging experiences for us that were perfectly scheduled and stress free (as soon as we had an idea of what to do the staff had a plan on how to get it done). This was a fabulous start to our vacation, and I will be comparing every other hotel experience from now on to our stay at the Palazzo Venart.

The best hotel we have ever stayed in. Way beyond the Ritz, Four Seasons or any other five star hotel or resort. From riding up in a water taxi to their private dock to walking through a garden to get to the lobby so beautiful. The room was charming with a roof top terrace. Waking to church bells having breakfast in the garden of the courtyard everyday was just perfect. The staff went beyond perfect. The manager was a delight. I have no complaints. The area is safe and eating was no problem the staff recommends anything you need. Perfect stay. We should have booked a longer visit.

The Venart is a special place among many special places in Venice. An old Palace directly on the Grand Canal in the San Polo neighborhood -- the quiet side of Venice. The concierge team is outstanding and the public spaces of the hotel are grand. Given the 2-start GLAM restaurant size limitations, food options at the hotel are quite limited. This can be a problem if you don't feel like heading out for dinner -- or even breakfast. Otherwise, it's a lovely place.
