This was a wonderful place in Dorsoduro area. A little walk to 2 water taxi stops. The lobby, staff and breakfast was amazing. The rooms are on the smaller size but normal for Italy and they could use a little updating, but all in all it's a great hotel.

Location is good but the staff was a bit rude at times. Also many of the in room amenities didn't work such as the coffee pots. The breakfast was good but again the coffee machine was broken in the dining hall.

Location was key for us in a quiet area away from the very crowded areas but still close enough to walk to the main sites. Room was dated. Shower extremely small and only having the shampoo mixed with the bath wash was not preferred. So bring your own showering items like shampoo and conditioner. Also AC goes off all the time have to keep manually turning it on during the night . Staff was extremely helpful with recommending places to eat and helping with getting a taxi back to the airport. Staff were friendly and helpful as I mentioned

The staff here was so helpful. After a long day of walking around, they knew we would have a hard time finding a good restaurant willing to take us last minute. They contacted one they recommended and had them save us a table and it was a wonderful meal. The room was clean and the location was amazing!! There’s a really fun corner bar nearby that was always bustling and the staff and vibes were awesome. This is a really great place to stay when visiting Venice. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is in a nice, quiet area, with a moderate walk to nearby attractions. The staff was great, and luggage storage was available, which was very convenient. The AC worked well, and the lobby was lovely. The room itself was fairly average, but overall, I would stay here again.

We have stayed here 2 years in a row. We love this location and we get a room with canal views, so for the price it's good. The front desk was less than helpful, especially on our arrival as our flight was delayed. Absolutely no help with transportation or trying to get something to eat. After long delays and late arrival, we just wanted a drink and maybe something to nibble on....as we looked on to the full bar 5' from the front desk. He said sorry no can do!!!! Whatever.....there is another hotel La Calcina well try next time, it's close.
