Place like a fairytale with a 10+ host

The place was like from a fairytail. Really beautiful and the host Francesca was superb. She knew all the best restaurants and places to go. The apartments is nicely renovated and really really clean. Francesca has her own parking which has loads of space also. We highly recommend staying with Francesca while staying in La Spezia area.

Calme, reposant et proche des 5 terre

Séjour d'un week pour aller visiter les Cinque Terre. Nous avons très bien été accueil par la très sympathique Francesca qui nous a apporté de précieux conseils pour visiter les Cinque Terre. L'appartement est situé à 15 minutes en voiture de la gare de La Spezia. Situé dans la campagne, le site est calme et relaxant. Un havre de paix. Appartement bien équipé, grand et très propre.

Si vous voulez vivre une expérience particulière dans un Immeuble ancien mais bien entretenu dans un petit village de montagne. Francesca est une femme accueillante qui nous a donné une foule de renseignements sur les Cinque Terre et les environs de La Spezia

This hotel is real Italian old house so we have special time to experience atmosphere of the real European old life . We really enjoy staying this hotel. The hotel is located in less than 20 minutes far from main area, but we took more than 30 minutes to visit at first time. Because the route to the hotel is not so easy for me even though we use google map.

Super freundlich von Francesca und Ihrem Mann empfangen, obwohl wir spätabends angereist sind. Sie haben uns alles, was wir über Cinque Terre wissen wollten, bis ins Detail erklärt und waren bei Fragen sehr hilfreich! Das Haus hat einen ganz herzigen Innenhof und eine wunderbare Aussicht in den Wald. Die Unterkunft an sich war klein aber sehr fein! Es hatte eine kleine Küche und man konnte drinnen oder sogar im Innenhof essen. Wir haben es sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder :-) Grazie mille!

Unique Rustic Gem

Escaping the masses and the hustle and bustle of Cinque Terre, this mountain haven was a rare experience. Nestled high on the side of a mountain, with outstanding views to the valley, this community of 1400’s buildings has old world charm and much appreciated serenity and natural beauty. Our one bedroom apartment had all the modern conveniences (refrigerator, stove, Internet, washroom and small t.v.) Although there was no a/c., the apartment stayed cool with a single fan assisted by the foot thick stone walls. Francesca, the hostess, was more than generous with her time, assisting us in our planning of the Cinque Terre. A bottle of local wine as well as some pastries and other small treats, greeted us upon our arrival. The Locanda, a restaurant in the next cluster of buildings served daily fresh homemade dinners that have been the best during our trip through Italy. This place offers a somewhat rustic, yet unique experience we were lucky enough to have been able to enjoy so thoroughly.

Rustic charm

What a wonderful time away from it all. So remote and unique. Don't expect the usual stay. It is rustic and remote. Perfect for a bit away from the hustle and bussel of the costal tourist filled areas. Our host was wonderful and warm. Getting to train and the town was easy.

Exceptional - A little piece of paradise

I cannot recommend this place enough - we really did not want to leave. Our hosts Francesca & her family are lovely, very helpful and informative. Caste is a beautiful & very peaceful. Perfect for walking & you can take a trail walk to Cinque Terre. A bottle of local wine along with cakes, tea, cofffee & milk is there for your arrival. We really hope to return some day. WiFi signal is also good. There is a small restaurant in Caste which is recommended, it has a small set menu (3 courses 15euro - excluding wine & dessert (June 2019))

N’hésitez pas une seconde, ici tout est fait pour vous détendre. Les propriétaires ont pleins de bonnes intentions. Il n'y a plus qu'a déposer vos bagages. La cuisine dispose de tout le nécessaire, ainsi que Sel/poivre/ Café/Lait/ Huile/ Liquide vaisselle/ ... D'ici vous avez accès à de très belles balades à pieds qui peuvent vous amener jusqu'au Cinque Terre. Je recommande vivement.

Sensacional! Quarto com boa cama, banheiro espaçoso e com tudo funcionando, além da cozinha que dava prá fazer tudo. Vista belíssima e local silencioso à noite para dormir. Só tome cuidado com o acesso e prepare o GPS.

Nous avons séjourné trois nuits dans cet établissement Nous avons bénéficié d'un accueil exceptionnel, avec toutes les informations utiles pour visiter la région. L'appartement est très confortable, très bien équipé, propre et bénéficie d'une terrasse spacieuse très agréable. L'endroit est calme et proche de La Spézia d'où on accède facilement aux 5Terre. Un grand merci à nos hôtes pour leur gentillesse et la qualité des prestations proposées.

Peaceful escape!

Really beautiful views from the terrace at this rural idyll away from the crazy crowds of Cinqueterre. The lady who runs it (I'm afraid I've forgotten her name) was charming and very helpful. Lovely trails nearby, including a 2 hour one all the way to Riomaggore... which unfortunately we couldn't attempt as we have small kids but I was itching to try! Very nice, simple local restaurant a stones throw away with a nice terrace for 8pm dinner sitting - they were happy to prepare a veggie meal for us and it was delicious both times we went. Oh, and a very friendly and talkative cat that the kids loved...The appartment itself was basic but nice, with a sweet little kitchen with everything we needed to make a full meal for ourselves one evening.

Awesome Place near Cinque Terre

This place is awesome! The place is beautiful...old European feel..Fresh air,beautiful view..the rooms can be small but nice.The kitchenette ha sthe basic utensils,with toaster,small stove and fridge...The place is not close to train station, need a car to get to the place..Train station is 5-10 mins away where u can purchase an all day train pass for 15 Euros to get to all the 5 cities...The owners are very nice,had welcome gift of their house wine and a reusable bag for shopping...Will definitely come back to this place when have a chance again...

Lovely hosts, beautiful village, breathtaking views, we hiked down to cinque terre for a day and were looking forward to going back to Corte Paganini for some peace and quiet! Amazing place, I can't recommend it enough.

Appartement et vue à couper le souffle

Des hôtes vraiment accueillants qui prennent le temps de nous donner beaucoup d’informations et aussi, ils ont été à notre disposition pour le transport à l’arrivée, de la gare centrale à l’appartement, le lendemain pour retourner à la gare parce que nous devions prendre le train pour les Cinque Terre et finalement, le matin du départ, ils sont venus nous chercher pour nous conduire une fois de plus à la gare. L’ appartement est parfait, très propre et la cuisinette bien équipée. La vue est époustouflante!
