Gite La Cale de la Clauderie

The gîte, La Cale de la Clauderie, rises on the south bank of the Royal river, the Loire, at Rigny-Ussé. La Cale de la Clauderie is located on the levee, the Loire cycle route, in a natural park. This old hemp oven, in limestone, renovated and equipped with all the necessary comfort to spend an excellent and relaxing stay, will charm you. The heated swimming pool, in season, completes a large garden. The second bedroom and its private bathroom is located opposite the gîte in the old 18th century tavern. Ideal for stays with friends or for families with teenagers, beds made on arrival, don't forget swimsuits and pool towels.

Très belle prestation, nous avons passé un week end très agréable sans être les uns sur les autres puisque 2 couples et chacun sa chambre et sa salle de bains. Rien ne manque. Nous n'avons pas profité de la piscine, octobre oblige, mais dommage. Nous pensons revenir.

Séjour charmant au bord de la Loire
Très agréable séjour au gîte où tout est prévu pour le confort des visiteurs. Les lieux correspondent bien à la description ; la piscine est profonde, chaude et sécurisée, le jardin accueillant, la cuisine, les chambres et le salon sont bien agencés et équipés. Reste à se laisser aller au plaisir des vacances et de profiter de la gentillesse de Magali, la propriétaire, attentive et discrète, efficace et généreuse (ah les tomates du jardin offertes à deux reprises!).

Well equiped holiday home in a superb location
We realy enjoyed our week in the holiday home in Rgigny-Ussé. The house is equipped with all the basic needs for a holiday. It also has a warmed heating pool with salt water (no chloral) with a nice sunning area with great chairs and a separate teras with a large parasol. The pool is secured with a fence for safety. Furthermore there is a really nice professional ping-pong table (table tennis) , badminton gear and other games to play with. For traveling to the local boulangerie there are 2 new bikes with easy in height adjustable saddles. The area is very quiet and within in one or two minutes you can walk to the river Loire. Along the river Loire cycling is very common and the views are great. The owner speaks English which is handy when you struggle with the French language :-)
